Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience dining in at Sea Sun. The place looks great and the view is spectacular. Service was good.
Food is overrated and overpriced. My partner ordered half chicken for 380 baht and it was dry. The seasoning has no depth to it. Chips were ok, not good though especially with that price.
Now my dish, I ordered fried rice with chilli shrimp paste and fish. It came out looking good. However, it tasted bad. It was super sour and spicy. I am Thai and I eat spicy. If the flavor is balanced, spicy would make the dish even more delicious
Unfortunately, it's not in this case. It's pure sour and spicy which made it worse. I literally couldn't eat it and returned it after 2 bites. The chef cooked a new rice for me with same fish which I don't mind.
But the dish was still bad. I was very disappointed. I just ate half of the rice with fish. The paste was still sour and not pleasant to eat.
I appreciate the chef for trying to cook me again but unfortunately it wasn't good. I'm not a picky eater but it was disappointing to eat and I couldn't eat even though I was hungry. I told the staff again after I paid and on my way out that the dish still wasn't good but I tried to eat it anyway.
The question is ... will I come back? Unfortunately, the answer is NO.
A great chill spot, good food & lots of tasty beverages to choose from. Friendly staff and cute customer servicing cats 😸 so fluffy
Second visit here, last time I was on the island we came for drinks and desert both were great. You can see planes landing sitting right off the water

Beef lard fried rice 👌 this slapped with crispy garlic
Nipped in for morning coffee...
What beautiful place to sit in the sun and have a coffee and chill out on some funky bean bags. Coffee was out of this world and mango and kiwi smoothie to follow was just as good.
Waitress I think was called "Ice" I could be wrong from her name badge did perfect job hooked me up with some WiFi too.

I came here for breakfast and it was absolutely wonderful! Service was great, food was amazing and the views are so great! One of the better places I’ve been on my trip in Thailand

Really nicely positioned restaurant with amazing views over the bay and big buddha. Sunsets are wow to look at from here. Food options are wide and all is yummy. Nice atmosphere! Rest of the complex is closed and will be reopened in a year with hotel rooms etc.

THE place for sunset views and selfies, also great atmosphere, live music performances, and pretty good food.
Definitely a place you should visit before the sunset!

1.French Toast is very delicious but available until 01.00PM (Breakfast set)

I wanted to book a table for me and my friends meeting in a private area , but for 7 people they ask to eat not less than 5000 which is ridiculous coz that time they have breakfast only, so each of us should eat not less than 2 sets of breakfast 🥴
Staff speak very bad english, it took 5 minutes to explain which day of the week i want to make the reservation.
Last time we visited this place for breakfast and after 15 minutes awaiting for the waiter they told us we can’t make an order because breakfast stops in 5 minutes.
