Average restaurant with okay food, the menu variation is huge (usually not a good sign in my opinion). We ordered a garden salad, spaghetti bolognese and the grilled chicken. Salad was OK but very simple! It consisted of lettuce, 2 small cherry tomatoes and some bell pepper. If you use raw onion in a salad better use a red onion. The grilled chicken was very fatty, not really diet proof. Staff was nice and food came within reasonable timing. We are looking for cafes around Desaru and chanced upon SDS Bakery & Cafe. Decided to hop in with the kids. We are very pleased and happy with the service. The food is awesome. Usual S.D.S cafe. Wide variety of western and local fares as well as juices and smoothie. Service was prompt and staff was friendly. You can also get wide variety of pastries and cakes here. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon with locals and tourist visiting desaru. Do come in 15 mins before lunch to beat the crowd. 1 star due to long wait for the take away food. The food were ready long time as i see it at the counter but due to the staff not paying attention, made me wait almost an hour. Please improve your customer service. Food taste was good. Service Take out Meal type Lunch

Staff is friendly and helpful. Place is very nicely renovated and look new and clean. Great selection of cakes and bread. The food quality is average but price is reasonable. A good alternative to hotel breakfast and the hotel is usually packed with guests

This place has been my favorite for the past 2 years. The presentation of food surprisingly nice. Almost all my orders, look exactly as display on the menu and the taste is amazing. Give it a try !

Very clean and tastefully decorated new place. The food was nice and you have lots to choose from. Cappuccino is very good. The staff is fast, helpful and friendly. Parking outside is possible. We will be back.
