Wow! The Benedict and Turkish Eggs are a festival of flavors and an absolute joy to devour as brunch meal. The coffee was well made as well and it was arguably the best brunch I’ve ever had in my life. Such a surprise this little joint! I would highly recommend anyone visiting Wanaka to try this place out. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Turkish Eggs

Obsessed! We came here early on a Friday morning for breakfast just in time for fresh scones right out of the oven. Of course we had to indulge and grabbed a blueberry scone which was delicious and melted in our mouths. Ordered a coconut cold brew and a filter coffee. The cold brew was the best I’ve ever had! It tasted coconut-y without being overwhelming and wasn’t overly acidic like most cold brews are. As vegetarians, we ordered the eggs Benedict to share and it was perfect! The base wasn’t an English muffin but instead a pan fried potato patty which was perfectly seasoned. The whole experience was so delicious we’re thinking of going again. Highly recommend coming here! Went for Brekky yesterday morning. Honestly one of the best eggs Benedict’s and English breakfast teas I’ve had in my life. Super cute decor as well. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I came here in April earlier this year and enjoyed my Turkish eggs, so when I came back in December, I ordered the same thing. The dish is pretty different from what I had last time and not as good. The yogurt component of the dish uses coconut yogurt now, and the consistency is pretty light and has a coconut flavor. It reminds me more of a tzatziki sauce than a thick yogurt. The dish this time also incorporates diced beets and beet hummus. I like beets, but I felt like the beet component overpowered the rest of the dish. It is also served with sliced focaccia rather than sourdough, and I think focaccia is just not great as a toast bread since it’s too airy. I’d still recommend this cafe as there’s a ton of natural light and seating, many pastries to choose from, and quick service, but wanted to offer some feedback for the dish I ordered. Stopped in for a takeaway coffee and was absolutely blown away by the cost. I ordered a regular macadamia milk latte, the regular is the size of a small anywhere else and to top it off it cost $8.30. Most expensive coffee I’ve ever ordered. When I questioned them about it they said it is cause it’s takeaway but there is no mention on extra costs at all. Save yourself the disappointment and go over the road to Urban Grind!! Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
You need to use a microscope 🔬 to see a decent amount of food for the price, you can count the chickpeas, the beetroot hummus wait less than 3 grams. In summary tastes good but is super costly Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
We were recommended to this place by a holiday park employee. Well worth the long wait. Employees seemed nice but the one waitress never seemed to smile. She was very busy. Coffee was ah-mazing! As was the chocolate banana bread! Comfortable atmosphere and nice ambiance! Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast
