My visit to the restaurant at Riverhouse Hotel (The Teak House) in Mae Sariang was an absolute delight, thanks to the perfect blend of exquisite cuisine and feline charm. Apart from the stunning riverside views and the delectable dishes that captured the essence of the region, there was an unexpected highlight that added a unique touch to my dining experience. A friendly and affectionate cat became our companion throughout the meal. This cat's presence added an extra layer of warmth and comfort to the already inviting ambiance. As a cat lover, having this furry friend keeping us company was a heartwarming surprise. The staff informed us that the hotel is cat-friendly, and this particular feline ambassador seemed to epitomize that sentiment. It was evident that the establishment truly cares about creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for both guests and their four-legged companions. The combination of outstanding culinary creations, the soothing riverside setting, and the company of this friendly cat made my visit truly exceptional. The warmed up brownie was amazing! Plus, You have to try the Caffe Mocha! Neat atmosphere, great views, very friendly service, a wonderful place to stop before hitting the road. Finally found a legit coffee shop traveling around northern Thailand. Coffee was great but scenery and food also amazing. Must try the brownies. Highly recommended.

Our hotel didn't have espresso drinks so we headed across the street to get a carefully crafted cappuccino after breakfast. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the back, the river scene is pretty, the sound of the water calming, and the trees and the teak house itself are gorgeous. Looking forward to the new food and drink project that the owner, Ten, is making across the street. Muffin, the resident cat, is a charmer.

Coffee is good but river view is disappointing during dry season. Overall nice and clean environment to spend your morning reading and relax

You seriously can't go wrong with this place! The porch is absolutely amazing and they give you mosquito spray and candle. Big selection of craft beers, and excellent Thai food for a good price. And the waitress spoke perfect English!

Great coffee!! We had cappuccinos, the cream was dreamy with a light pinch of cinnamon. The brownie was a delight, with French standards ! 👏👏👏

Really loved this addition to the hotel. The coffee was excellent. Always hard to find great coffee when up country, this did the job...perfectly. Great menu too!

Kind of expensive if I'm honest. $2 muffin, $3 cappuccino (Canadian) not exactly good value in Thailand!

Good coffee with a view. Maybe the best or one of the best coffees in Mae Sariang which sadly has few coffee/food places anyway.
