Service was quick and couteous. We ordered the steak bites and tortellini. Both were excellent. Steak was well seasoned, tender and cooked perfectly. Tortellini was very tasty and also cooked to perfection. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Friendly staff, good service. Our burger came with slightly undercooked fries and the server made sure we got a fresh basket on the house. Yummy drinks for a fair price. Also, the onion rings were delicious. Would definitely recommend!

Sadly disappointed. Fish n chips was dry and the batter could use a flavorful face-lift. Also don't let the fish tacos fool you with how they look. They do not taste good at all. Chowder is bland. So happy we chose Sam's! Good prices, great food and drinks, friendly helpful staff. French dip was good just a little skimpy on the meat. The steamers were awesome but maybe some parsley or chives for a little color and a slice or two of sourdough bread with butter to sop up those delicious clam juices in the bottom of the bowl, so good. Excellent fried cheese curds and juicy clam strips. I highly recommend and will come back next time we are in town.

The oyster shooters were delicious as always and the fish tacos were great!!! The perfect amount of food for me personally~ we come here every year on a trip and it's great <3 (There were 3 fish tacos but I'd already eaten one before I remembered to take a picture, haha!) I always love me some seafood! Their fish and chips was super good! Definitely one of their best deals giving you chowder, chips (fries), and crisp fish. Their chowder is good, but wasn't anything super crazy in my opinion. Close to the beach too is a plus! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

Ordered takeout from Sam's Seaside Cafe and was surprised with our order. The burger was full of flavor, and the fries were also done well. The folks there were very friendly, and the atmosphere was good for families. Note that any menu image that is prior to 2023 is incorrect with pricing. This place was so gross. Only place open in town. We waited patiently for a while to get menus and drinks because the server was working in another part of the restaurant. Which is totally understandable. We get that the world is short staffed. Someone decided to smoke a cigarette in the restaurant and the server couldn't manage to convince them to leave or stop smoking. So we immediately felt sick. We ordered our food and after patiently waiting for another long while, we were overjoyed when it finally arrived. Unfortunately, everything on our plates were rotten in one way or another. Moldy broccoli, gray disgusting fries, stringy super stinky wet, goopy fish tacos. We took a couple of careful bites because we were starving, but we didn't want to get sick, so we paid, tipped and left. The server didn't seem surprised that we didn't eat. We are shocked to see that this place has a 4.2 rating. Places like this need to close or need a big change in management/ownership because they're gonna make people sick.
