I’ve been visiting Salsarita’s for well over ten years and have really enjoyed my experiences, generally speaking. Unfortunately, this will be my last visit to the Gastonia store. I ordered a chicken burrito and the food was just not good. In addition, the staff didn’t do a great job preparing my food. I don’t want to be overly critical because I worked in the restaurant industry many years ago myself. I know it’s not easy work (and it’s never easy dealing with the public) but the staff seemed very disinterested in preparing my food. In short order after I was served they were in the mostly empty dining room scrolling through their phones. In summary, I’m not giving up on Salsarita’s restaurants but sadly I and my family will not be returning to the Gastonia store. Pulled up with a car load at 8:27pm only to pull on a locked door and two employees staring at me from behind the counter. The door clearly says they close at 9pm. So sad what customer service has come to. Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We went on our May wedding anniversary. Happy us! You definitely get more for your money if you go in person to dine. Doordash orders are much smaller portions, FYI. It's a cool vibe, and staff is SUPER friendly here. My husband ordered nachos. I had a taco salad without the edible shell. Este es el mejor lugar para comer en la ciudad. Fantástico.💕

I literally just left this place and tried my food at home. I got the burrito bowl and I wanted chicken and I asked if there was fresh chicken the older lady told the younger lady that was helping me everything in here is fresh clearly the chicken I got was burnt and dried out and I watched her scrape it from the bottom of the pan. My fist time at this establishment. The first thing I noticed is that the place was not very clean. The initial employee we were confronted with was not very friendly. He seemed to be enduring his job instead of enjoying it. I got a combo bowl with chicken the food was fresh and tasty. I would go back because of the quality of the food. Great food and great customer service. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. A guy (who I believe was the manager) even brought me more chips and salsa to my table outside!!! The pork is so good and I love all of the options that you can add onto your food. I had my tacos loaded with topping overflowing. The portions are very generous and I will definitely be back! Check the app for deals as well.

Order #63164829906952 was all wrong and missing many items. I was given five shrimp The chips was cold and unseasoned. The line worker was not nice. I came for lunch today and got a steak burrito bowl with Pueblo corn salsa and chips and a tea. About an hour after eating my guts are liquid. I’ve thrown up 3 times and came very close to not making it to the toilet in time to not mess my pants. I’m miserable. I’m positive it’s food poisoning. I wasn't able to have an experience at this location because once me and my wife pulled up you had one of the employees sitting outside smoking a vape letting me know that the lobby was closed. Being that it was my first time at this establishment I wanted to take my time and look over the menu unable to do that from the drive-thru we opted to just go somewhere different I would have liked to experience this but I don't think I'll be returning to this location Meal type Other Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
