Ordered take out. They messed up the order. Charged me for things I didn’t get. When I called to let them know they didn’t offer a solution. This is how the chicken parm sandwich came and was completely inedible. Highly recommend ordering from other places in town that are WAY better. If you need a quick lunch look no further.. this is great pizza, and it's under $5.. I really appreciate that they have an affordable option. Sauce was great, toppings and topping ratio great, but we ordered a Sicilian pie and it was flat like regular pizza? Like the dough didn't rise. But since everything tasted so good, definitely going to go back. Maybe try a regular pizza, or a Sicilian again and see what happens. I'm just used to the thick crust when you order Sicilian. Ordered the plain large pizza, and the 12 piece mild wings cause my girlfriend says I can not eat anything spicy do to my health. Lol and it was more than great.. highly recommend. Sal’s has been my GoTo for solid pizza and sandwiches for as long as I can remember. I’m 35 and remember the days where my buddies and I would pile in for Monday All you can eat specials! I even remember sals before the fire years ago! While I normally order a plain pie or maybe pepperoni now and then, for some reason tonight I ordered the Philly Special with the request of chicken instead of beef. This pie was beyond my expectations. I enjoyed it so much. I can’t wait to eat the leftovers tomorrow for lunch! Thank you so much to everyone at Sals for my pie tonight. I loved getting pizza here - honest non pretentious pizza slices BUT the other day I watched an employee in a yellow shirt mop the dinning area then pass a wet blue towel over the serving area of pizza. Although they pushed apart the pies- it was totally wrong I can’t trust this place again sorry but you can’t do that to yourself - call the BOH I HAVE NOT RETURNED -IT STILL DISCUSSES ME ME WATCHING THAT WET RAG PASS OVER THE SLICE COUNTER… And zit SEEMs OKAY TO THEM Service Dine in Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Great food by friendly local staff. This is a family friendly and delicious place to eat. The sauce that came with my calzone was amazing and I didn't even wait to take pics until I took a bite of pizza 🍕. I cannot say enough good things about this place but it's pizza places like this that are the heart of NJ towns. Sal's has the best pizza around and we have enjoyed it for years. However, I recently purchased a Hamburger that was the worst I have had in my entire life. It consisted of two patties each about 1/16" thick. Thank goodness I had onion and catsup on it, which made it edible. I think that the hockey pucks that I received had been on the grill since Monday; and I placed my order on Friday. The accompanying fried onion rings were almost burnt. The pale French fries had absolutely no taste. Sal's has the best pizza around and we still come here for pizza. But, we now know to stick to their pizza.
