This restaurant was actually great. The food tasted right and the service was prompt enough for me. The only thing I would say is that the portion sizes can really vary between meals. Some are surprisingly bigger, some smaller, so I would suggest maybe if they added photos to the menu. I comprehended that the size differences normally equate to the cost of ingredients, which is fine, but I just would have liked to know before I ordered. I dined on Saturday evening with my family. It's the only place food came at a reasonable time. The food was good. Our waiter was efficient and kind to my son. Soft music adequate to allow conversation. I had pork ribs in honey with chips and were sumptuous. Will definately come back. Looking for an all-around authentic night out experience? Then go here. The food is excellent. The service is spot on. The camaraderie is wonderful. The live band is amazing. The mzungu owner is warm and welcoming. You won't realise how fast time flies here!!! A journey into the past (in a positive sense) For dinner at the Safari inn. After 18 years for the first time. Time seems to have stood still and that is meant in a positive way. Rudi, the Swiss owner still makes his rounds every evening and greets the guests personally. Surprisingly, he recognized me after all these years and we exchanged a few words. The food is plentiful and of very good quality. It ranges from Swiss cuisine (various kinds of homemade Rösti) to typical German (various Schnitzel) to local cuisine and seafood. I had the seafood plate for 2700 ksh and would have gladly paid more. In addition, a few beers and it was an all-around successful evening, which I will certainly repeat more often. Food is always quick and good here. They cater mostly to a german speaking clientel (austrians, germans, swiss) but if you want to experience this or just want some good food do not pass on Safari Inn. I think they have live music on tuesdays and fridays so you will have to be early if you want to have a seat as it gets busy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Good ambience, friendly service. The music is turned up to just the right volume which is great for both entertainment and conversations. I liked the live band. I will surely visit again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Service was very poor.I asked a waitress to pack the chicken I was eating only to find out not all the food was packed and instead she added some potatoes in my package something I didn't order. That was so dissapointing Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
