I can only say this place is ’fine’, If youre looking for an experience or are visiting Gävle then there are much better choices but for a quick lunch in a hurry you could do worse. For the price and the amount of food you could get its a good deal but you need to overlook some things that would mean more to some than others. Firstly the decor and style of the place leaves a lot to be desired, you may find it charming and ’rustic’ but without doubt the place needs a good scrub and a tarting up. The ’aquarium’ was offputtingly dirty and has too many for the size of the tank, a minor thing to some but it bugged me. The seats could do with renewing too. All that aside the food was suprisingly tasty, not like amazingly tasty but cheap buffet food tasty and a reasonable selection too. Again, all I can say about that is that its ’fine’, had much worse, had much better., the peanut sauce wasnt great though, odd aftertaste and aroma, not horrible but not nice. In terms of service Ive seen happier staff in a morgue, poor dear behind the till looked like she’d have been happier anywhere else, but hey, its summer and who wants to be working right? Even so she was a tad sour. Its also a little jarring to pay for a glass of coke from a 2ltr bottle for around the same price as you can get the whole bottle just around the corner. The glass was a bit dirty too. Im not a fancy man but is clean glassware too much to ask for? Another small thing but by this point they do add up. Im confident with a solid long weekend of work this place could be a whole lot better. If it were the only asian buffet in town i’d likely go again but It isn’t so I’m not so sure I will. Ok food, sometimes they serve fish that has been frozen which is tasteless but most of it is fresh. Their websites prices are outdated so instead of having to pay 100kr we had to pay 120kr for a weekend Lunch Buffét.

Update: the food holds a very good standard now. The level of niceness varies depending on cashier but all workers are service minded and kind. The cozyness of the place is immense and lovely. The sushi in the buffe is still not up to par Old review. Nice service minded workers and waiters. But very varying quality of food. The sushi is not of my taste at all, the other foods have been great at times whilst other it has been of poor quality, it makes it a risky choice. However I still find the place ok to come to at times due to the nice atmosphere and people working there.
