This coffee house is exactly like its name, situated in the middle of nowhere, literally a hole in the wall place. But its low profile and easy going feel makes it uniquely blend in to the neighborhood. Their coffee is really good, few bakery items are also perfect done with nice presentation. I am very happy that I spent my Sunday afternoon here with coffee, cake and finishing up with an IPA. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The coffee tasted amazing and so many different origins to choose from! The cakes were super delicious especially the chiffon with caramel crumbles! What a cozy unique place - it was definitely a diamond in disguise! Just wish the chairs were a little more comfortable on the 2nd floor, we didn’t hang out too long due to that. Service Dine in Meal type Other Price per person $200–400 Recommended dishes Honey Cinnamon Milk
Super cute café with interesting industrial design that resembles a workshop with various tools and a garden with fairy lights along the river. Really cute facility, indeed. The odd things: it’s an establishment selling mainly coffee, but they only open in the afternoon/evening (1pm); they don’t have a very broad range of beverages (mainly pretty expensive, kinda odd coffee drinks like ginger beer and espresso for 160NT, for instance). Not a lot of variety of beers, basically no soft drinks or food. They do not have Wi-Fi so don’t even think about working from there. They also have a slightly neurotic ginger cats that runs around. They only accept cash, no cards. Service Dine in Price per person $200–400
A retro run-down style coffee shop good for IG. I had a hand drip Guatemala (TWD$150) and a slice of strawberry chiffon cake(TED$160) for my first visit today. I like the coffee, it’s smooth with nice aroma. However, I am disappointed with the strawberry chiffon that is very dry and thin, although it looked good in the picture taken. I think the cake is not worth of the price. We can easily get many much better strawberry chiffon cakes in Taipei. Their service team is friendly, but the restroom is very unpleasant. I don’t think I will come again. 🙁

Delicious dessert with a homey feel, the coffee drinks here are legit, staffs are friendly as well. We were sitting at the backyard with breeze, one of the most relaxing cafes in town and I absolutely love the layout and the interior. No reservation, better not come with big groups either.

A lovely café to spend a whole afternoon at. Its location is a bit far from downtown Taipei. I had to take the metro and then transfer to the bus to get there, however, I think it’s worth a visit. The café itself is an old house and pretty small, and it’s designed as a loft, which means the ceiling is low on one side (I’m 5’9 feet and couldn’t stand straight at all), yet it’s well-decorated in the industrial vintage style. I visited on a sunny day and the natural lights shining in were just amazing. As for food, if I didn't remember wrong, most menu options they have are either drinks or desserts. The only menu option they serve other than cakes is hamburgers (I didn’t order it so I don’t know if it’s good or not). I had a banana & peach cake with a glass of honey lemonade. The cake itself is a bit dry but it tastes pretty good with the cream on top. The staff is very kind and friendly. They say that 2019 is their 7th anniversary and gave me a postcard saying that I could write and leave it in their mailbox, and they will send for me. How sweet! Oh, and they don’t have time limitation which is great. I spent a wonderful afternoon there.
One of my favorite cafés in Taipei. Absolutely lovely ambience, friendly staff, great coffee and more than nice cakes prepared with great care. They have nice big windows that make it seem like you’re in a greenhouse adding to the ambience. Perfect place to spend a weekend afternoon reading and sipping delicious coffee.

Coffee was nice and the desserts were delicious. The vibe was good. They have a exotic second floor. The cafe is close to river bank and just next to the bikeways. Easy to reach via ubike station(文山行政中心).highly recommended.

Coffee and brownie, pleasantly and surprisingly the latter served with ice cream, were both divine. HOWEVER the building, its excellent and creative use of a small space to create a small open mezzanine level, was genius and I adored how no matter where you sat it felt like an adorable nook with something unique and interesting to look at. Great to access this cafe via the riverside cycleway as there is a ubike station very close to this cafe.

The pour over and the latte are both decent. Pour over has a little bitterness aftertaste, the milk texture of the latte was a little off. The cheese cake on the other hand was divine. The mascarpone cheese with granola and toasted almond creates the perfect texture. The added honey and caramel elevated the cheesecake to a whole another level!!! The bonus is the store is a half-ruin, this the name.
