Tasteless food. Ordered through Uber eats.. firstly the order didn’t arrive on time and secondly the food was disgusting. Ordered chicken korma which tasted like fresh cream and chicken pieces. And beef Rogan Josh that they charged extra for as selecting beef when most other Indian restaurants it’s the same price for chicken or beef selections. Beef Rohan Josh very watery and also tasteless. Safe to say that this is the last time we order from this place. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We have travelled to many countries and have dined at many Indian restaurants. The food and service we received from the Royal Indian when we toured Rotorua was top class, as good as we have ever had (and we've been to many). Thank you so much! We will be back again! Ordered lunch special which costed us 15$ per person. No doubt the food was so delicious, we even ordered mango & sweet lassi , it was delicious too , the consistency was as required. It was our 1st time experiencing here and was totally worth as well. We all liked it and hope we will come here again next time . The lady who served me as just so so lovley and patient, she really made thr whole experience so much better!! Now I can't forget to mention how good the food is here absolutely amazing, best Indian I've had in Rotorua so far!! I asked for spicy and it wasn't too spicy that smoke was coming out my ears but it was just right with the sweetness of the curry! I'm 10000% going back!! On New year was in Rotorua for my holidays. Found this restaurant was fully packed. But Front Stafff organized a table for us. Owner of the restaurant was so polite and helped us to select the best dishes. Loved this place . Definitely recommend . Now you are in our list whenever in Rotorua.

Counter staff were very nice and accommodating, dining area was a bit cold but the door could have been closed if dining in, great music and good things to look at on the walls. I ordered: Butter Chicken 8/10 very tasty, chicken pieces were delicious and tender - this dish is very sweet, which I personally enjoyed. The complimentary rice was hot and fluffy. Garlic & Cheese naan 6/10 was a little doughy for my liking but was hot and very large, great for wrapping and dipping. Mango Lassi was AMAZINGLY refreshing and sweet 9/10 Chips were deliciously seasoned, perfectly cooked and were a decent sized portion 10/10 Will dine here again 100% 🙂👍🏼 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Fish & Chips
