Came back from fishing, always seen this place but never stopped by, decided to stop by for the prime rib but we were 1 hr early and was hungry and tired so we eat our burgers and came home before the food kicked in. Will drop by next time for the prime rib on sat.

Our server was good but our food was not good. Since they did the addition their prices have gone up & quality has gone down. I used to love their steak bite melt it was $15.95 & now it is $19.99 had no flavor. I definitely won't be going back.

The food was wonderful! Hot, delicious, served fast and fresh! We had prime rib, French dip, steak bites, and the very good grown-up Mac n cheese. Their iced tea is great too! The only thing I didn't like much was the high-top tables as they are not my favorite, but other than that, I have no complaints and highly recommend!!!

Prime Rib Special
Went out to rough cuts for lunch ,
Had bread crumb coated onion rings, mushroom& swiss burgar& I had the wood chipper smoked pulled pork and topped with canied bacon with fries on a chabita bun.
Wound up taking half of it home. Fyi rough cuts now has a drive through window.

Rough Cut Burger with Onion Rings
Food was good and they gave large portions. Service was very good too. A couple issues:
-they nickel and dime you on everything: credit card surcharge and charge for a side of bbq sauce on a BBQ sandwich? That's nuts. Not to mention their $17 sandwich is probably 55-60% profit minimum.
-cheddar is the second most popular cheese in the US after Mozzarella. Neither of these are carried here. I don't understand it, especially when I've made this comment three times after coming here. Swiss and BBQ isn't the best combo.
Would love them to fix these issues to get 5 stars!

Wood Chip Smoked Pork Sandwich with Candied Bacon
Stopped here for a quick bite to eat on the way up north. This was a delicious burger. The cibatta bun was soft and the burger itself was seasoned well . The star of the show was the onion rings. Quite possibly the best o-rings i have had . Stop here if you are in the area!

She had some wonderful suggestions on what to try on the menu. The atmosphere is great. As you can see in the photos, the food looked, and tasted, fantastic! While the price feels a bit high initially, the portions were large and taste was fantastic, so we felt it was a great value. We got the Hoss burger (smoked pulled pork, onion rings, and some sauce), the Woodchipper (candied bacon on it), and then the last one I can't remember (had pulled pork, fries, and sauce). Added bonus, the onion rings are homemade and absolutely delicious!

Holy cow these burgers are amazing! No joke, because rarely do you get a 1/2lb burger that claims to be hot, and delivers. 20 minutes after eating my tongue is still tingling and I love spicy food. The beer was cold and refreshing and the wait-staff was extremely polite and friendly. Definitely coming back again!

Update 11/17/20- still the best burger ever.
We got our usual Rough cut burger, but this time we tries their special chili in a cornbread bowl. Wow! Wish they would keep this year round.
Amazing food- the best burger you will ever have and flavorful sides. Great service. So nice to dine in again! My husband and I split the Rough Cut Burger with sweet potato fries.
