We were looking for a quite and beautiful place to rest for last days of our Sri Lanka trip, and we found exactly what we were looking for ! ☀️ Place was beautiful with big garden and comfortable rooms, breakfast was great and beach 3 min walking distance. Host was warmhearted and provided us the best hospitality! Host shared many interesting stories and tips and facts about Sri Lanka 🇱🇰Highly recommend place and breakfast, we were absolutely satisfied 😊

Perfect place to stay in Tangalle for some peace and quiet - the owner is very friendly and relaxed, the location is great (5 min walking distance from the beach) and the cabana is really comfortable and clean!

We had a perfect stay, the place is beautiful located in the middle of nature. The room we stayed in was perfectly clean as well as being very nice and spacious. The breakfasts were delicious! Without a doubt, this place is perfect if you want to spend some pleasant and quiet days near the beach. The hospitality and generosity with which we were treated made us feel as if we were at home. Thanks for everything!!!!❤️

We found this accommodation from Booking.com but we didn’t book it in advance. Just walked in and got the room for very reasonable price, 3500lkr per night. The hotel is run by family and I think they live in the same yard. ||Location is great, only couple of minutes walking to the beach. No traffic noises, only sounds of waves and wildlife.|We don’t know if there is a possibility for breakfast. Maybe if you book it in advance, they could serve breakfast to you. |The rooms have a Wifi and it worked pretty well. The bathroom is decent and we got warm water. ||The owner didn’t speak english very well so we had a little bit of problems with conversation but we got all the necessary things solved.|If you want to support a hotel ran by a Sri Lankan family, book this one, we recommend!

We had a great stay at this accommodation. Very nice people. And the place is a one minute walk to the beach! Great price also! The room was very new and clean!||Also the bathroom is very spacious and also clean.||If you wake up early, you will be greeted by monkeys and peacocks.|

Stayed here for 2 nights. Found it by accident. Very quiet, relaxing and 4 minutes walk to marakolliya beach. Really beautiful with a good cafe on the beach and town is only 300r tuk tuk away. Lots of monkeys, wildlife and away from the noisy and dirty beaches towards town. Great internet, huge comfy bed and good shower pressure, all new and clean. The owner is a good man and arranged a very reasonable price for a taxi ride to Ella. Highly recommended!

Rock Pool is conveniently located a few minutes away from the beach. It is newly built and kept very clean. This residence is run by a friendly family who helped us get transport and let us use the kitchen to cook some fish we bought. It is good value for the price that you pay.

A little bigger, nicer and more tastefull ( furniture / tiles / bed /...) than the other places around... for a good valuable price.||||The owner is a very friendly person and his english is better after some minutes ;)||He was fisherman before and lost his house (and some more) in 2004 tsunami. ||He survived by climbing the tree you see in the garden... ||||We had the upper room... a great view and you hear only birds, waves and a little wind in the palm trees.||The wooden Cabana is less expensive but not the one i write about. ||||Note: There is only one spot at the beach where you can swim (because current and waves). THIS place is very close to that spot. Restaurant for Breakfast and Dinner is at this Swimming-Spot.||We moved to Rock Pool because it is closer, better and less expensive :-)||||TRY IT :)

We slept there 3 nights coming directly to the room (not through booking). The room is great: clean, big, nice and confortable with a good net. Great location next to the beach. The problem is that the owner and employees don t speak english and we had communication issues: about breakfast, checkout time and at the end he charged us 1000roupies for a broken things and was aggressiv with us. Thinging we couldn t write a review, they were not really nice.
