The Coop Cafe at Richard's Chicken Coop was the best Chicken Sandwich I ever had. Honestly the chicken breast was thick, juicy and tasty. We had 3 of them, the Hot Mama, The Famous Sauce Sandwich and the BBQ Deliight. They were all fantastic. The potato chips with the Sandwich was on point. Then we ended the day with a Banana Pudding Milkshake, the server that helped us was absolutely amazing and my daughter loved the shake. Prices were good for the amount and freshness. Enjoyed the Elvis Presley milk shake made by Lisa at The Chicken Coop/The Coop Café along with the delicious chicken and corn bread. On my next visit, I'll try the Banana Pudding milk shake and the Cheesecake milk shake. Come support the small business located at the Cloumbus Farmer's Market. Highly recommend 👌🏽 Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
First I have to say this place's chicken is off the chart in freshness and flavor I stopped and got the Chicken club sandwich and no place can even get close to it. The chicken breast was juicy and flavorful well seasoned and huge then the fresh bacon dukes mayo farm fresh tomato and lettuce on a fresh Keyser roll was so good that I had to enjoy every bite as I indulged on the home made kettle chips and pickle that accompanied my sandwich 🥪🥪🥪🥪 you have to try it CHICKEN IS THEIR THING... Enter at your own risk these people stole 40 minutes of my life for a pork roll egg and cheese sandwich. If anything or anybody could move any slower time would be going backwards. The man from the counter is real tough when he standing over top of a woman just trying to get her food that she ordered 40 minutes ago and then gets argumentative he says if you don’t like it, don’t come back we won’t! Ordered the jumbo wings and chicken gizzards. The wings were not fresh, but would be better right out the fryer. The breading would be great if fresh. When ordering you take a number.. they call your number and you order . They make your order and there you go. I went on a Saturday, so they were busy .I was served yhe same chicken that was sitting there since I was waiting thru the whole process. The chicken gizzards were the star of the show. Fried fresh... probably coz nobody orders them . If not for the gizzards then 1 star would be the score. The Coop cafe has great service btw. I ordered a chicken sandwich( the hot mama) from there and it was good. Very nice staff . Try the gizzards . Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Chik Fila who? I just enjoyed one of the best authentic homemade fried chicken sandwiches in my life. Fried chicken breast cooked to perfection, moist and succulent. I got their sauce sandwich with their own homemade ranch and buffalo sauce. Nice touch of homemade chips and pickle. Topping it off with tasty real sweet tea. I'll be back!!!

I went to "Richards Chicken Coop" at the Columbus market. Two times. Wack and wack. Inconvenient , over priced, bland, slow, and surviving off its history/fame. Richard should mail WaWa a check every year for locking Royal Farms out of Jersey. Royal Farms has better fried chicken and better JoJo's. One word, DELICIOUS! The best fried chicken and potato wedges (aka JoJo’s) ever!!! They still taste the same from when my grandparents took me as a little kid. Go get some, you won’t be disappointed.

I was very hopeful after reading an article that the best chicken was made here. I was very disappointed. The chicken was average at best. I got the family meal that came with potatoes and Mac n cheese. The only thing I will give 5 starts to is the potatoes. The only reason I gave 3 starts is because of the potatoes. The person who took care of me flicked a stink bug off the counter towards customers. I do not recommend this place at all. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50

Service was quick and the cashier was nice enough but honestly the food was gross. Not good fried chicken at all. It really just tasted like grease and flour. I don’t know why this place has so many good reviews. They upsold us on the fried potatoes and honestly, I wish I did not buy them. Totally underwhelming and not even crispy. Also, I know chickens have feathers and I understand if they’re butchering their own birds that it’s not always going to be perfect, but when I have to PLUCK OFF little chicken hairs, I just will not be eating it. I feel bad for wasting food but I had to throw it all away. On the flip side the sweet tea was good! So, yeah…mediocre chicken at a pretty high price. Maybe I just caught them on an off day? Don’t know, but will NOT be returning. The Amish BBQ down the aisle is much better and fresher.
