Super nice place. It is small but well organized, the lady is super nice and pays very much attention to all the clients. The dishes were super good, well presented and everything was fresh. We had dumplings Cod as appetizer, linguini with shrimps and tomatoes, gratin codfish and cheesecake for dessert. The entire dinner was a success, my girlfriend and I had a very nice time and we were treated in the kindest way possible. The best hospitality I’ve ever experienced. The restaurant is small and intimate but still spacious, great vibe. The service was very personal, the hostess/waitress/owner was lovely. I had a great time even before taking the food into account. The food was really great, asked for recommendations since there were too many options that looked great. Fabulous staff service and delicious food served in a timely manner and good amounts! We can’t say enough great things about the service and recommendations received at Ribeira Square! We really enjoyed the grilled octopus, seafood rice and Porto! Also, the wine recommendations were excellent! made reservations way before coming and glad I did because the restaurant filled up an hour after opening (dinnertime). the starters,mains and desserts were all delicious and service impeccable! we really enjoyed our first meal here in Porto, thank you! Delicious food, great service (it is a little family-run restaurant of mother and her beautiful daughter). We received great recommendations for pairing the food with wine. Strongly recommend, but definitely you need a reservation! An incredible meal with home cooked Portuguese dishes. The cod gratin was heavenly, I loved every bite. Service from the staff was very fast and the table even included a call bell if you needed their attention. The Tawny Port was also a lovely accompaniment and the home baked desert cakes are not to be missed. Highly recommend this restaurant, it's much better than many of the tourist traps around! We sat down for some early tapas before the sun set, there are a bunch of really busy places closer to the water that we skipped, and we are so glad we found this place. We sat outside and still had a nice view of the plaza and waterfront. We were greeted and served by the owner who was so kind and friendly. The food was incredibly good. We got melon with ham, padrano peppers, cod dumplings, and ‘dream cake’. I’d order the same thing next time I go because it was so good, and then try some more. We came here on our first night in Porto and so glad we did! Food was delicious, especially the Cod Gratin (which we got the recipe for it was so good!) and the dream cake - lactose and gluten free, but was one of the best desserts we’ve had! Amazing service too, couldn’t ask for better. Thanks so much for a lovely evening! Amazing mother and daughter restaurant located close to the water. Their enthusiasm and passion for food was palpable, all of their food tasted fresh and homemade. We had the vegetable soup, caldo verde soup, cod gratin, and black spaghetti with prawns. For dessert, we had the dream cake and lime pie. Everything we had was great, especially the desserts!! Keep in mind the restaurant only has 18 seats and they do not have a dining time limit, so ymmv when it comes to how long you’ll wait (if at all). Reservation recommended.
