This a popular local family run restaurant that used to be among the top restaurant in town. However over the years, due to staffing issues it no longer handles walk in customers. Nowadays you need to make prior booking to eat there. I had eaten there a couple of times over the many years I’ve been back to Jerantut but the quality seems to have deteriorated lately. My most recent visit, the food was almost tasteless, and at best is worth only 3/5. The place has also not been maintained well, old tables & chairs, even the signboard’s lights are off. It may be the old folks popular spot for family dinner previously but with the expanding F&B options in town, it’s best to explore new restaurants. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Old retro but air-conditioned restaurant. The food was good and the river fish was lovely. Honest pricing. Friendly proprietor. The steamed 550g of redtail catfish fillet (白须公, ikan baung) with hardly any bone/fins was well worth the RM55. Price per person RM 20–40 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
