In short- amazing food, great service, great location, highly recommend. My detailed review- First, the restaurant is open during lunch time (13-16) which was excellent. Most restaurants are closed during these hours so it was amazing. Second- the service was incredible. Waiters that speak English, smiles on their faces, and quick service overall. Third- the food itself. It is a BBQ style restaurant and all I can say is wow. The portions are just right, very high quality ingredients, well seasoned, and you can feel the authenticity of it all. Very nice place. We arrived a bit early and were the first in the restaurant for dinner, but shortly after our arrival, all tables were taken. I really loved the atmosphere. Excellent service and delicious food! Even with our limited knowledge of Portuguese, the servers were very kind and helpful. We ordered a cheese plate, house wine, a delicious salad with fruit, sea bass, and the meat symphony (which was plenty of food for 3 people!). The food came quickly, was prepared well, and tasted fantastic. And it was very affordable! Plus, the atmosphere was upbeat and enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting Vista Do Douro. Fresh and delicious meat and they serve very good loaded plates (you get more than enough for the price). Sure, its expensive compares to the other Restaurants in Regua, but you definetly receive high class quality. This is a lovely Portuguese Restaurant, with beautiful views. Staff very friendly. Food was amazing, cooked and presented well. Nice wine. You pay abit more but worth it. If you would like to taste Portuguese food, this is good restaurant. Great and big meals if you eat not do much, but you can always packed, just ask. Also great service and good location.
