Charming restaurant located along the back streets of Regua and away from the tourist traps close to the train station. The food was so good that we actually went back for lunch and dinner on the same day. We had the grilled piri chicken and stewed pork belly for lunch whilst for dinner, we had the house special grilled cod and Bitoque (grilled steak with a fried egg). Food was very well prepared, cooked and seasoned. The house white wine was a pleasant surprise, slightly sparkling, very crisp and bursting with citrus and apple flavours. We even ordered an extra bottle to have it back at our hotel. Friendly service and the food and drinks are very wallet friendly. What to say... the best traditional portugese cuisine ! Amazing pork, pasta, chicken...Fair prices for homemade, healthy food ! Try vino domestico... excellent !

Great affordable place (8£ per dish inc. sides and 2.4£ for a big bottle of sparkling water), the food was fresh and tasty and the waitress was nice and spoke good English. A good lunch option in the vally. Park in the big parking lit that is under the street where the restaurant is, as there is no parking next to it.

Great service, amazing food! A family owned restaurant boasting some of the best Portuguese dishes I’ve had. Simple but tastes amazing, we went back 3 nights in a row while staying in Régua. The grilled chicken steaks, the frango assado and the house red wine were our absolute favourites! Highly recommend 🙌🏼 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–15

I got the grilled chicken which was good for 8 euros. It came with chips and a salad. The Turkey was even better, which my partner got. House wine was delicious - red. Their sweet white port was really good too. Good vibes, friendly diners and staff. Very inclusive.

Big portions! We asked for "House Special" and Perch... Very yummy and well cooked! Also the staff are very friendly and attentive! Highly recommended 😊
