We were given one single menu when we sat down and waited for 20 minutes without service. We had to flag down a server and it took another 5 minutes for someone to come over. We ordered 3 drinks and nachos. The drinks took 20 minutes to come and the nacho chips were hand made tortillas that were soggy and soft. We only came here because it was included in our entrance ticket. I wouldn't waste your time here.

Disappointment. We waited more than half hour for our pastas and we were the only guests there. Taste of aglio olio was okay but pomodoro was really weird. It is also bit pricey. At one point I counted 5 staff members behind the bar but none of them really cared about us. They should have more people in the kitchen. I really didn't get it what took so long. It is pasta. You put it into water for 10 minutes and that's it. It was nothing inside just a bit of sauce....
Worst food on Ometepe.
Waited more than 1 hour for the food, when it was served, it was not worth eating. The fries came 10 minutes after we finished the rest, they were also cold and really bad.
When we complained we just got ignored by the staff.
Don't go there, they only got customers because of the voucher you get at the entrance to the pool.

The worst food I have ever been served in my life. I ordered pasta pomodoro and I don’t think there was more than one tomato in the whole dish - the sauce was just water. It was also cold and the service was shocking. The food took an hour to arrive and we had to go and ask for our drinks after they didn’t appear for about 45 minutes. The staff were rude and laughed at us when we asked if we could have the bill after we’d been waiting another 45 minutes.

Iv traveled quite a bit and eaten at all sorts of spots from high end restaurants to hole in the walls and was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. I was there 8/19/17 with my girlfriend enjoying the island of ometepe when we decided to visit Ojo de Agua. After a quick dip it began to rain and many decided to leave. We decided to stick around and enjoy a meal since the restaurant was there. We looked at the menu and saw that the prices where high compared to many places in the area but decided to order anyways. We ordered two micheladas with toñas which where amazing. One of the best we've had, we figured the food would be just as good. We began by ordering a shrimp cocktail as an appetizer for us both, then a lobster platter each and a steak platter for both since they didn't have a surf and turf platter for individuals just a family meal. Once the shrimp cocktail came, the presentation was great. My girlfriend snapped a foto and forgot she had the flash on, while she took the foto I noticed something squirmig on the lettuce leaf that was poking out. It was an extremely small wormlike animal. I was thankful she used the flash. I called the waiter over who took her time to come. You could see in her face that she wasn't happy we would complain. I showed her the alien substance in my food and she proceeded to say she would show the chef. We could see him yelling at her through the glass. She came back and said that the chef had said the animal wasn't there because the lettuce hadn't been clean but because it fell from the wooden roof beams in the restaurant....? I asked her to take back the entire dish because we had lost our appetite for it. Unlike most we still had hope that the main dishes would be good. We got or main dishes at te same time only to be disappointed once again. The lobster skeleton was all there, ok presentation but the tail was so small you could eat all the meat in one scoop. The rice felt old and we didn't even touch the salad. The steak was extremely dry and tasteless. I learned something that day, the worst restaurant Iv ever been to. Extremely disappointed service and the worst excuse of how the worm got there. I spent $1600 cordobas at a place where we left all the food. At the end all I wanted to do was escape this place at all costs. Save yourself the time and money, and do not eat at this place. Have a beer or two, maybe a cocktail. But do not eat here. I will make sure this post hits every area where a review can be left.
Worst restaurant on Ometepe island!!!
We ordered today two fried fish for 426,56 Córdoba each. One of the fish was rotten with disgusting taste, so we could not eat the fish. By complaining to the waitress the reaction of the management was very unprofessional and without any excuses. Moreover we had to pay the full price! Don‘t go there!
