Nice place to stop for a quick lunch. Tuna was cooked well and very tasty. Vegetables tasted like they were previously frozen. Can only buy wine in a full bottle. Bean cheesecake for dessert was amazing.

Best fish you'll eat! A simple rustic spot in a small village (Sao Bras) that leaves you knowing you ate traditional Azorean food that is phenomenal with a simplicity that leaves you feeling like you discovered something very few will get to take part in. Less (simple) is more and that's what these place is. Grateful to have eaten there.

Family run, small rustic restaurant, limited menu choices. Discovered while driving around neighborhing Maia village. Unfortunately, our party of 7 patrons were mostly disappointed by the food: fish plates were bland, meat was ok, preparation was at best basic. Reasonable prices (food and alcohol) friendly service with a smile.
Not the best restaurant we’ve experienced I the island. Steak was ok (bife lagarto) but was heavily doused in butter. Came with fries and a fried egg. She got the local fish (not sure which one- sargo grelhado or chicarrinho frito). FYI- it was a full fish- head, scales. Came with sweet potato and salad. Bread was really tasty but the goat cheese was pretty bland. House was was quite good!

My wife liked her grilled tuna, but my "empty steak" and fries had a slightly fishy taste. The service was good and they were friendly.
Nice food at a very reasonable cheap price!
We ate codfish with potatoes. The codfish was way too salty. The potatoes were okay but to much for us. Good thing however was an English menu.
Nice local restaurant. They had an English menu. Friendly staff, food was typical of the area, nothing fancy, but good cooking. Decent price for lunch.
