No matter how good the food might be, when you eventually get it...its not worth waiting. We have received our table of 5 orders in batches. Burgers came after about 30 mins, toasted sandwich after about an hour and its been 2 hrs and the calamari just arrived.

The food was really good. Only my Xima was challenging as they struggled to get done, and they even suggested switching to rice. The relevant negative remark is on the fact that I was charged twice the bill on my credit card, moreover the phone tied to the restaurant on Google is wrong and there is no way to reach out to them. Brilliant food but service can be slow. But then again you're on holiday and shouldn't be in a rush. Best Half chicken in town!

This a great family restaurant conveniently situated on the lagoon front close to the petrol station in Bilene. The restaurant has a Butcher on the same property which has the best quality meat and supplies in town. Say hi to Anieta - the friendly and helpful co-owner of Mar Azul Restaurant, she will help with anything you may need in town!

Worst experience of our mozambique trip, waited over 1 hour 30 min for our food. After becoming upset the waiter just laughed at me, owner was very friendly when we were at Mar azul earlier, but unfortunately she was not there at the time. I would strongly recommend that you do not go to this restaurant and support this tipe of service, the waiter just said that we must decide what we want to do. If you are the owner of this place I would suggest that you either train your staff or find someone more competent to deal with your customers.
