I was really pleased to find this restaurant amongst the usual tourist eateries. It is away from the main square serving great craft beer (Nortada Imperial Stout & Dark Lager) and tasty appetizers. The food has a Portuguese/Brazilian and Angolan theme. The codfish balls and prawns were perfect. There is plenty more on the Tapas style menu to try. The staff are friendly and I will definitely go back when next in Braga.

This place is a must and in January it came under new ownership. Tons of variety on the menu, tasty dishes well prepared and lovely owner. There are many good restaurants in Braga. This is a MUST!! Enjoy.
It's a beautiful restaurant inside, it's welcoming, intimate and warm.
The service is excellent.
We were however dissapointed with the meal.
We had the pork ribs to share which comes with chips.
While the portion of chips was big, the ribs were not enough for two people. The meat was tender, however in had no flavour with the exception of the sauce which was just covering the top. The sauce was tasty, but the meat wasn't marinated in it, in order to absorb the flavour, it was just added on top.
For 25 euros, it was expensive for what we got.
If you’re a tourist in Braga, then you ought to go to the coziest restaurant, capable of leaving the best impressions – Kianda Restaurant. Hospitable and very professional host, Eliane, delicious and eclectic dishes, beautiful presentation, varied quality wine list and wonderful desserts.
I’ve had a great experience in Kianda. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming with an exquisite decoration. Not only do wines, food and service are outstanding, but staff are also extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. Eliane was very competent and kind in explaining all about the menu list. The cook is really talented. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back again.
Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Braga.

When you look at the menu there's a good wibe.
When you enter and enjoy the home-made meal, and the owner is nice, you have the confirmation that you need to come back to check the other meals of the menu.
I did check 3days later and would have continued if I had more time !
The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and efficient. Good ambiance. I strongly recommend.
