Took a quick walk out of our hotel in Cumbres where we were staying overnight before an early flight out of Cancun. To our pleasant surprise we found Flor de lis restaurant. The service was great and the food was good. I recommend it for a quiet, tasty dinner. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Delicious margaritas and guacamole and chips to begin. The waiter and owner’s sister were very attentive helping us navigate the large and varied menu. We finally settled on the steak with mini tamales. Absolutely delicious!! We were staying at a hotel across the street from Flor de Lis and wanted to end our visit to Cancun with a good Mexican meal. This truly satisfied that request. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $500–600
Best Mexican food in town. Fried bean tamal 10/10 The mural is gorgeous. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
An awesome Mexican Style restaurant with a wide menu to order from. Do not let pass the tamales and bread, they taste great. The menu could be accessed by QR. If you want an original Mexican Restaurant, this is your spot. Flor de Lis has a long tradition with tamales (sweet and salty with corn leaves or banana plant leaves). If you give it a try, you will repeat the experience to continue trying its great flavor in their menu. If you are in a rush, they have a window to order bread from the outside to save some time.
This restaurant serves great-tasting Mexican food! The restaurant is located 30 minutes south of the Cancun hotel zone and 15 minutes west from the Cancun Airport. Flor de Liz, derived from a French symbol, is located in a modern shopping center in Cumbres. They have a wide variety of breakfast, lunch, dinner dishes, pastries, and traditional Mexican hot and cold beverages. A great place to eat before heading to the airport or get away if you need a break from the hotel zone.

I'm all the way from London but that's probably one of the best maghrita pizza I've had. Decent price too!

My hotel recommended la Parillas but I saw the photos of this restaurant and thought it looked 100x better. I was right! The food is home cooked an incredible. We ordered Tampiqueños and it was INCREDIBLE, the best skirt steak I’ve ever had. Only thing I would do is exchange the enchiladas that come with it for the tamales. We ordered one tamale con salsa verde and it was soooo good. Pozole rojo with cerdo was good but not as amazing as the rest. 10/10 recommend this place.

Tamales, enchiladas, and atole were good, however the service was very slow and not attentive. It is a nice place for breakfast, however they struggle a bit when it gets real busy to keep up. Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4
Two stars, because it’s in a convenient location, has parking in the rear and has a cozy terrace. My wife, mother in law and I, with two toddlers, arrived at 11 am on a Monday for a late breakfast. We were seated next to an open table and by the kitchen area where drinks are made. We sat for 10 minutes waiting for service, no tableware/cutlery, nobody asking to take order, including an employee that passed our table three times on his way to pick up drinks. A party of six sat at the table next to us, and the same employee that was picking up drinks immediately set their table and brought out a tray of sweet breads as is customary here. That same employee didn’t think to check on our table, yet proceeded to take that table’s orders, promptly bringing them coffee and juice. We got up to leave, and on our way out I asked to speak to the manager (Mr. Miguel Polanco), and much to our surprise, it was the same employee that had previously ignored our table and had served the table adjacent to us. I mentioned our experience and he was not apologetic at all until we said we would be leaving a review. This is a shame because the Avenida Tulum location has great service and atmosphere, and the food is delicious. I think this location is poorly run/managed. There are better options for breakfast in Cancun (Mar de Miel, El Huerto, La Orgánica, etc.) so go for those.
