Had our 1st full dinner of our holiday here after a glowing recommendation from local residents. Splendid service, tasty food and lovely atmosphere! You will not be disappointed! Calamari appetizer we highly recommend followed by pepper steak. Very tasty

We were positively impressed. The service was friendly and helpful all along. Food was good, simple but tasty.

Very delicious! We had the spareribs (very nice marinated and juicy), the corn fritters (nice change for normal fries) and the rice with seafood, all recommendable!
Great food at very reasonable prices. We had the tuna and the scabbard fish along with the homemade fries and the highly recommended sweet potatoes. Everything tasted delicious and was also nicely decorated.

Aesthetically very pleasing, but underwhelming in taste and overall not great value. Tuna was nicely flavoured but overcooked. Somehow the olive and cheese starter was the highlight!
Been in this restaurant last summer (2022). My daughter wanted to repeat the experience as we eaten in the roof terrace. So we had to do as she didn't stop talking about it. I say we had to do as it a bit far for where we normally are. Absolutely love the Prazeres by the way. The food was very good, service was lovely and deserts, oh well, I wish I would have shared the main with my wife so I had more room for dessert. There were very good. It's not cheap but the food, the surrounding, the church, the Quinta dos Prazeres it will be worth your journey and money. Will make a very good day out. Would definitely recommend it and I really hope that I can visit soon. Good luck guys well done.

We had a really lovely meal here - steak with pepper sauce was so tasty as was the passionfruit mousse and coffee mousse. We sat on the upstairs terrace which had a nice view, and listened to the festival music going on in the village. A special thanks to the lovely South African lady who served us - thank you, was lovely to meet you!

Excellence is just one word to describe this lovely cosy family traditional restaurant literally out on the woods!
The service was well considerate especially once they knew I was a non speaker of thier native language.

Side dishes of potatoes , salad, rice and so much more including a family cake for dessert - walnut and honey cake with banana and cream on side. - delish💋
