Lovely little restaurant specialising in regional dishes and seafood. However, we are both vegetarian and the vegan options were brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed our stuffed peppers with stir fried vegetable and pineapple rice and a side of sautéed vegetables. Extremely reasonable prices and great portion sizes. Recommend! We went to have lunch as an improvised pit stop. The food was brought very quickly (rare in this island). The personnel was very sympathetic. The entrees were a little bit expensive for the quantity but the main dishes were excellent, we tried the fish and the meat and definitely we recommend the fish. The main negative point is that the deserts were not homemade. Positive impression and nice meal! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very friendly staff with tasty & fresh food. Garlic bread was fantastic! Why not 5 stars? Had shrimps for starters, but literally 2 min after the starters the main dish was served so the shrimps went cold and became a dessert. That could have been better as there were only 2 other guests and the timing was a little off. But recommendable to have some great food! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30

Great stop for lunch on the way. The fish of the day was delicious 🤤. Soup and shrimps are amazing. Beef chop medium rare was a bit chewy as i like it but maybe not for everyone. Deserts were good as well. Stuff is very friendly. I really recommend this place. Meal type Lunch Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Shrimp Appetizer
After having spend two weeks on São Miguel, and tasting a lot of different (wonderful) dishes, this restaurant was a very unfortunate experience. The dishes themselves didn't have too much of a taste, mostly because of the unbalanced ingredients. The pork, for instance, was drenched in red wine "sauce" and so were the fries (who lost their crispy bite and were soaking wet eventually). All tasted like red wine and the meat was cooked to dry as well unfortunately (which made a strange combination together with the drenching of the red wine). For the staff: no room for thought was almost given. It felt like we had to order immediately as the staff member was waiting beside our table until we were ready to order. Aside from this, the staff pointed out several times that we should take the fish (the more expensive dishes), instead of giving room and some private time to choose something by ourselves (there were a lot of other options too). As a closure to the staff: we enjoyed our dishes on São Miguel and never gave any feedback to any restaurant, but for this restaurant we figured we would (in order to "strengthen" their dishes). On the comment that the fries were soaking wet, the staff member laughed and denied that this was a "problem". A very unfortunate gesture to have received, but we left it at that. At the payment this particular staff member seemed to joke at his colleagues about us (using the language barrier), leaving an unpleasant energy to us. The bread that was given as an appetizer was also charged, but we didn't asked for this appetizer as we had already ordered different appetizers. This indicates again that this staff was greedy on making the most money out of their customers, even without a certain consent from the customer. Overall this formed a strange experience at this restaurant and we left with an unfortunate feeling around the dishes that had been eaten and the service given by the staff. It was surely not worth the money spend over there, but more importantly: not worth the experience. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €30–35 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

One of the best meals we enjoyed in the açores. Ask for the fresh catch of the day. And don't forget the pineapple. You will not leave disappointed :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Garlic Bread

Fish was fresh and very tasty. Good atmosphere, good music and very clean. Highly recommend if you are hungry and in the area. The fish with potatoes and salad was 15 euro. Well worth it. Very tasty food. The grilled limpets were amazing. The octopus stew and the fried sardinas were super tasty too. Prices are fair and the service was fast and friendly. Can definitely recommend it! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great spot for fish. We had the bacalhau and the tuna with clams. Both were tasty and full of flavour with tons of veggies. I loved the chicken soup starter. Simple but awesome umami flavour. Great spot for a meal Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €15–20

We have had some not great restaurant experiences in the Azores over the years. And we always seem to discover an out of the way place that sets things right. To start the Food here was wonderful. Maybe the best and freshest fish I have ever had anywhere.. We had fish of the day, they gave us a well illustrated book to educate us on it. Red Bream. It was cooked to absolute perfection. This chef does not play games. The sides were to die for. The owner and the head chef were right up in front of the house and ready to to talk about their delicious food. The waiter was attentive and friendly she took very good care of us. This place blew the doors off any of the places we have tried in Ponta Delgada. Well worth the detour to try this amaizing place. Hope to be back asap. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
