After the unsatisfied breakfast from Tiga ros restaurant ,came to Selvam restaurant to try here we ordered same cow's milk tea which is taste perfect 🥰. We ordered wajid ( steam rice cake), not bad, less sweet, and tasted good, too.we have ordered idli to try the authentic taste of Indian cuisine the taste was good with all the chutney and curry.most surprising is the can where they served curry and chutney is unspilled outside and clean.The order served fast and according to our requirement ,friendly staff and Good for Breakfast and I guess Lunch.I saw lots of variety are available here.I will come here back again for Indian food. Absolutely brilliant meal!! I was lucky enough to have this Friday special in selvam and wow it was delicious. The dish itself is very filling which makes it a great meal for dinner. The great amount of flavours and different spices you taste are incredible. 10/10 from me and my friends who had the same meal. If your ever near or travelling through Melaka on the weekend definitely give this dish a try, as it was one of the best meals I had travelling Asia. For value for money, flavours and volume of food its worth every penny. Hats off to the chef Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is tasty and service is good by the staffs. Been eating here for the pass few days while holidaying.But do ask the price of individual items you take for the banana leaf rice set like chicken, mutton or fish. A family gathering at Melacca, while moving back, was held at selvam restaurant for a delicious banana leaf treat. Sambar was simply superb pls try it out, guys. My favorite place when I want to eat Indian cuisine. Love their varuwal chicken and mutton. The spice blend so well into the meat and I never want to miss these when I visit. Unfortunately they start to use the plastic cup to serve drinks, well it could be convenient to the shop operators but it's certainly a bad idea for the mother earth. Wish they could consider changing back to the standard glass.

Authentic food. The dhal is so thick and power packed. Chicken curry is full of spices and masala. Food for non-veg 5/5. Wish there were more vegetarian dishes. Food 4/5 Location 4/5 Cleanliness 5/5 Ambience 4/5 Service 5/5 Price 5/5 Value for Money 5/5 Will I come again? Of course, Selvam is always my lunch stop when I come to Malacca.
