We ordered a mango salad with shrimp and a fresh spring roll. Both were good, with simple and delicate flavors. The prices were a bit above the average, the salad was 100k, the spring rolls were 100k, and a bowl of beef Pho costs 80k, for instance. Came in alone on a rainy afternoon. The kids were just waking up in the corner where they had been sleeping on some chairs under a blanket. Granny comes to bring the Vietnamese pancakes for the day. Down the alley monks are chanting to their bells. The owners are sweet and give me warm thee to welcome me. The food was delicious and they gave me free fruit for dessert. What a nice gem! My GF found this place and dragged me along into this alley way. A bit away from the Main Street this place offers a calm refuge from the otherwise loud and noisy beer street. The food was really really good and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Two beautiful souls! Had the shared platter and left with full bellies. Would highly recommend this women led restaurant! I did not like the food at all. We just bought the food as a take out. Seeing the reviews and the prices, we thought it would be great. Vietnamese pancake was greasy and crunchy. We’ve had it in four other restaurants in Vietnam and this was by far the worst. Best thing about it was that it was small. Springrolls were fine but overpriced at 90k.
