It's very difficult to find this place, but it's worth every second you spend looking for it. We had a very friendly reception, we had many helpful staff helping us to choose our dishes , and the top niche in this restaurant it's the person appointed to give you the best experience you can ask in terms of wine selection, related to the dishes you choose. She it's amazing, in all meanings, and makes the experience one of the best we had in many times we went out for a meal. If you're looking for a top restaurant with many years of experience, giving the top service and kitchen...Ferro velho is that one. We will be back soon. AMAZING!!! The best meat I’ve ever had in Portugal. Monday night 10pm and still a line up at the entrance Worth the trip to the south shore of Lisbon Great service and ambiance In the center of a couple of apartment buildings but don’t get turned off by its location You won’t be disappointed

Very good portuguese restaurant. The food here is absolutely fantastic, the employees are friendly and the food was served pretty quickly. A little pricey that's why not a 5* Service Dine in Meal type Dinner

Here you can eat big portions of Portuguese food at a good price. Great quality and fast and kind service. The atmosphere is simple and local.

Lisbon - South of River on an errand. Dinner time creeped up sooner then planned. Somebody suggested Ferro Velho not far from here. Very nice Portuguese place. We had arroz marisco - like a rice fish resto with loads of sea food in it. Clams, crabs and prawns. The serving, usually in other places is in a copper utensil, what arrived was in a thick aluminium saucepan - I was taken aback - but on tasting the delicious food, it did not matter. The serving size was huge. Something for 2 could have feed 4. Mind you we had Garlic prawns as starters. The meal was nice. Setting was good and the service was good and friendly. Our neighbouring table had meat they bbq themselves on a small table bbq. Mind was thinking - have that next time! This is a popular place - sat surrounded by apartments, hence the rating.

Overpriced. 1 hour to get our food and the food is good but unfortunately not as good as expected. It's a standard restaurant. The staff were very friendly but very confused with the orders in every single table near by... including our table of course. I guess it's all about the "name/brand" of the restaurant and not about the effort and quality anymore in this one. You can have amazing gastronomic experiences from the same price and with more attention to detail and way more tasty in Lisbon and nearby. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30
