Stefan Taylor has a clear vision which translates perfectly into the dishes that is served at Restaurant Essence. The restaurant experience is intimate and warm, inviting conversations with the other guests around the table which in most other places can feel forced or out of place. Food is definitely on par, probably even higher than the average one star michelin restaurant. As a guest you are taking through a nice set menu with innovative and interesting dishes. The location in Kristineberg right beside the Kristineberg castle on Kungsholmen is a little bit off the "usual" Stockholm restaurant location, but I think that only adds to the atmosphere. A class in its own started going here when it was first based in Västerås and now they are in STHLM witch is perfect, loved the food the atmosphere, can't believe that this place hasn't received a star yet in the Michelin guide.
