We went twice to the Restaurant De L'île during our stay on Djerba. It was our favorite place to go. The atmosphere and the service was very pleasant, the son of the owner is a very attentive host. The food was varied and perfectly cooked. I would recommend the Meze Royal as a starter ( if you like seafood) is good for two to three people and serves a variety of dishes. A main dish is between 30 to 40 Dinar ( ~ 10 Euro) and comparable to other restaurants we tried. Definitely worth checking out.

My own experience didn't reflect some of the negative reviews on here. Food was delicious, quick and very affordable. Service was of extremely high quality. The gentleman who served me (not sure if he was the owner or not) exuded professionalism and care for his craft. Made this Canadian feel welcome.

Absolutely perfect, we were just amazed , great place, amazing menu and super clean, we had the pleasure to be served by Sayf, super polite and educated with a great professional skill , we will Defiantly comeback, our favourite spot in Djerba and our first perfect meal in all Tunisa Highly recommended

Avoid this restaurant at any cost. The prices are very high in relation to the quality and quantity. Bad service, even rude. They are professional to rip off tourist, specially with food / recommendations out of the menu. Do not order anything without asking the price first!!! Other options in town are much better.

They refused to accept us to the restaurant without reservation, they can accept only two table at the same time, because they don’t have enough stuff also they write open 18h but opening is 20h
