Lebanese food restaurant by the river. The river makes the ambiance nice, but the place could use some maintenance and updating. Other than that, the food is good and so is the service. The portions are pretty generous.

Well if you live in maten, you should try this restaurant if you haven’t already! We drive for hours to visit similar places, and al fouwar is just minutes away from the highway.
The place location well let you forget about where you are, and you wont believe that this is antelias!
Now for the food, the food was all good, we had mezza of course, and everything was great.
The service is great, and they are generous as well. They serve seasonal fruits as complimentary dishes.
One of the few places were batata harra is actually harra! And its so tastefull.
You should try makenek and kafta!

Prices are a bit higher than other restaurants, but they are reasonable compared to the service, generosity and atmosphere. Recommended in case you have any special event.

It was my first visit to this place, the river ambiance is so relaxing right in the nature. I liked the children playground. On the part of the food i don't recommend it, because the meat wasn't fresh, batata harra is hard as a rock and the chef/management can't handle any credit nor comments.
It was nice after 25 years to come back to my childhood restaurant. It was very nostalgic and brought back so many good memories. The food was amazing and the atmosphere is just as good if not better. The new owners and staff made the experience so welcoming, everything made me feel like I never left.
I can't believe the experience, the food is amazing, presentation is great and the price is good. I can't wait to go back on my next trip.
Good food and a beautifull outside sitting area the owner mr haysam is a very nice person who cares a lot about his customers being highly satisfied, prices are fare . Overall a nice restaurant and u should give it a try

Best restaurant in Lebanon.
They have a great location between mountains with a running river underneath.
Food and service are super delicious.
The final fruits plate was unexpected and fresh.
Visiting this place should be a must !
