Here's a place well worth visiting for a whole bunch of reasons. Walked in and were greeted and seated. Restaurant was full, they made a plan. 4 kitchen staff (which included the owner, who was cooking for us all). Waiters- I counted 3. They were serving tables, pouring drinks and at the same time rotating, checking everything ran smoothly. All the waiters served us, whether taking our order, bringing a drink, or food, or seeing that we were happy. And it wasn't at any time an overkill or too much. It was perfect. The owner also came to our table. I heard 2 other patrons from different tables complimenting a staff member and the owner respectively on the outstanding food and service. We ordered 1kg ribs which is served with chips and also the steak plankie, also served with chips. The chips were incredible (!) And a LOT!!!!!!! The ribs - I wonder how they make them. Softest ribs I've probably had...absolutely worth ordering, super tasty! I saw the Dom pedros and couldn't believe my eyes! Ended up ordering one, but instead was served two wine glasses of Dom pedro (because they didn't have straws and we wanted to share) -.and this was equal to one normal serving - which is huge!! What I really appreciated is the staff's energy. They're a young group of people, and they're fast!..there wasn't a second I picked up any form of slackness or not wanting to do something. They were moving around that floor double time, serving meals and Malone.tjings happen. Value for money = excellent Staff = what a pleasure Food= huge portions and tasty Atmosphere = very nice and comfortable For sure and most definitely I will make a point of visiting here again when in George. I'd even drive an extra 100km specially to have a meal here while in the area. There is no better way to prepare ribs than this! The best ribs tasted was in 89 Mosselbay Spur, only to be disappointed for decades across SA even at places that name themselves rib whatever, until Friday, these are the same!! Fall from the bone, correct cut, the best possible basting and taste. There's only one option friends and that's the 1kilo, you will finish the leftovers the next morning for sure. The plankie is a great too and the (authentic) chips portion will put any franchise's "large" option to shame. The waiters didn't "wait", rather performing their duties with the energy of Burnthejukebox doing their 80's covers. The chef/ owner (Grant?) was on it and paid the table a visit once the kitchen wrapped up, what a gent and passionate about what was served. Visited 12/10/23. My 300 gram sirloin steak was cold. My wifes plankie steak was also cold and extremely fatty. There was just one waiter to attend to everybody. He ran up and down like a lunatic and did an excellent job since he had to make all the coffees himself and run the cash register/computer and bar too. We probably caught an off night. Nice little local hangout with a small menu and limited seating. We were walk in customers and did not have a booking, but a table were made available to accomodate us. The food was very good. Allthough the maitre d' wasn't the most pleasant person the service was almost good, wich would be better if more staff was available. Overall a nice experience but would be better with at least one smile...

These ribs and steaks!! WOW! Also, I'm quite the pizza enthusiast, and no pizza will ever suffice anymore except for Rendezvous' pizza!
