Great visit. Well, everything was great until Kori brought us the check, and I gave him cash to go pay for us. Well, Kori never showed up with my receipt or change. we sat there about 20 more minutes enjoying the music, still no Kori, receipt, or change. I guess he took it upon himself to keep it as a tip. We're big on tipping by the refill he was already up to a $25.00 tip for such a good job he did with the refills. But since Kori had to steal my change, it will definitely be at least another 4 months before we even look RED CRAB way again. I sure hope that $11.27 he stole was worth it. I mentioned what took place to the guy at the register when I was leaving out, left, and then came back in to get a copy of the receipt. Service Dine in Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

This place may look a little shabby from the outside, but don't let that turn you away - the food is absolutely delicious! My son and I got one of the shrimp and crab leg boils while my mom got a fried shrimp basket. Hushpuppies as an app. Every single thing we got was great! Our waitress and all the staff were very attentive. Would definitely put this restaurant's food up against similar restaurants in the area. Food was good. Service was efficient enough but was certainly not particularly warm. There was some "questionable" graffiti in the men's room that if I were the owner, I would remove immediately. Also odd that there was no alcohol service. Most seafood sit-down restaurants in the area do serve alcohol. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Found hair in my seafood bag, told an employee over the phone that I was coming to get a refund & he agreed, got there & the owner or whoever she was said I couldn’t get a refund only an exchange after I told her there was literal HAIR in my food & the food was uneaten, hair in food should be a guaranteed refund. I got my refund after going back & forth with her which I shouldn’t of have had to do, obviously she don’t care about the customer just money, unacceptable. The sauce is tasty, the atmosphere is pleasant and the service was nice. I like the different flavors to choose from for my sauce. The house was my choice, plus you get to apply how hot you would like your sauce, mild is good enough for me. The restaurant appears clean, love the graffiti on the walls. This restaurant have no alcohol license, but you are allowed to bring In your own bottle of wine. Nice ambience. My server was very nice and engaging she comes by often to check on my table to make sure we need anything more. Wish I had gotten her name. Walked in with a bottle of Jack. Had put it to the side to take with me but when the server came to my table she asked me if I wanted any ice or mixers for it. To my surprise they let you drink your own whiskey! The service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious. The fried oysters were exceptionally good! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The hotel we were staying at recommended as we didn’t want to go back to downtown Charleston and find a parking place. I was hesitant when I saw it but we went in. Waitress was amazing - very helpful with the unfamiliar selections. Food was absolutely delicious! This is a chain - the one in Charleston is a BYOB -no alcohol served but you can bring in. As you can see - we ate it all! We ordered the crab legs, shrimp and lobster tail and added an extra tail. It was plenty of food for 2. 1st time visit. Waitress friendly and welcoming. I don't eat a lot of fried food, but the tilapia basket with sweet potato fries was DELICIOUS!!
