The older reviews of this place are definitely different from the current experience. The person behind the counter looked forced to be there & didn't have any customers centric value. We watched the kitchen lady come to take the curry out of the fridge to heat up but unfortunately she didn't do it well so the curries where quite cold. The worst part was going to wash my hands & seeing some meat defrost at the hand basin. This establishment needs a lot of work. Food that tastes like home. Well-balanced flavour, good portion size, packaging that makes it easy to eat out of or dish into a plate. They have a sit-down area in their shop, and also sell spices, frozen samosa par, patha, sausage, fresh chicken, they also sell a selection of sweets, biscuits, pickles and fresh veg. Really just such a treat! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chilli Bites
After new management took over the food and customer service has been great, it's the proper Durban food. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person R 50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

You want a spicy Durban curry then look no further. Just had the mutton quarter bunny chow which was absolutely delicious and reminded me of my Durban years. Next time it will be the chicken bunny. Well done guys Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Bunny Chow

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED The toasted sandwich was dry with 5 chips in it and the bread was the size of half a slice (this was R30 fyi) Ordered the patha roll it was replaced with x2 semi fried samoosas Will definitely never order from here again Service Delivery

Looking for good curry don't look further. Services absolutely amazing. I left my card behind when i left. The staff kept it safe till i made enquiry. Manager is flexible for a special requests if it is possible to do so. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Disgusting, tasteless, chewy, oil drenched food probably prepared a week prior to sale. From the butter chicken up to the paneer, an authentic food poisoning experience! Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person R 450–500

This place used to have the real durban flavour. Their food used to be awesome a few years ago. Not any more. Bought 2 punnets of 'mutton breyani' yesterday. It was terrible! Didn't even taste like a breyani, mostly sticky rice and potatoes, no breyani flavour. Paid R260 but had to give it away. Very disappointing. Whatever happened to the person who used to cook here?
This place used to make amazing roti and curry, haven't been in awhile until this morning where my mutton roti was terrible. Roti was dry and I'm pretty sure curry was defrosted because it tasted off and like tomato paste. Biggest regret having bought 2 for R95 each!
