I went to Quattro 6 years ago for my birthday and had an amazing dinner. I don't remember the appetizer but the lobster ravioli was so amazing I still talk about it. The wine, the food and service were superior. So, when I spent the day between the farmers market and the North End in the cold and rain I wanted to be warm and have a nice meal. I wandered down the street and decided to go back to the place where I had such a wonderful memory. It was lunch so even though I wanted lobster ravioli I went for the fried zucchini flowers and a margarita pizza. SUPERB! Too much for me to eat by myself so I brought quite a bit home and enjoyed it again. My server was exceptional. Just a very likeable man and very attentive. Clearly takes pride in his service and it was brilliant. I meant to take pictures before I started to eat but I forgot and dove right in. Go there. Enjoy! Very nice place and great ambiance. Stayed on the bar had 4 cheese pizza really cheesy with good amount of cheese. 1/2 rotisserie chicken is good but not the best. Chicken parm dinner is great, good portion make sure to order it with extra sauce. Fried calamari is perfect comes with some baby octopus and onion rings with tasty sauce on side It’s good place but staff need to stop eating and drinking by the line with the gloves. Overall good experience but wouldn’t say it exceeded my expectations, considering superb places around the area. Exotic mushroom pizza: great portion but topping was but poor. It’s simple w/ mushrooms but would’ve been better if there’s more cheese or garnish? Eggplant parmagiana: Layers of eggplant w/ lasagna, and tomato sauce was amazing. It was an appetizer with excellent serving portion. Almost felt like a main dish Enjoyed the service and restaurant itself. Would visit next time to try other menus as well. Really excellent service - my parents wanted hot tea as a it was chilly out but the kitchen’s hot water wasn’t working - the servers went out of their way to boil water on the stove to bring to my family, which we really appreciated. Food wise - we ordered the seafood platter, 4 meat platter, sirloin burger, and mushroom pizza. If you’re looking for authentic Italian in Boston this is it! The location is very cozy; but the service is on point and the chef does an amazing job with preparing the food. Fried parmesan starter and bread with pesto (complimentary) starters were delicious! The Short Ribs pasta dish was flavorful but the texture of the assortment of pasta and beans was a bit odd. Service was attentive but the space was a bit small. We sat in the back close to the bar and had to move a bit every time someone walked pass so they wouldn’t accidentally hit us. Was expecting big things but it just didn't deliver. Enjoyed the fresh bread with olives and topping on the side. Ordered two pizzas to share. Personally, I did not like the sauce and the flimsy undercarriage. The server disappeared and never checked on us until after the meal. With so many choices in area I would try another place. We went to Quattro at the recommendation of a local. The food was excellent. The service was good. The restaurant was packed, and they were still able to squeeze us in without a reservation. The restaurant is beautiful and warm, especially with those ovens fired up cooking whole chickens. I would definitely recommend.
