Definitely some of the best seafood in Redondo Beach. It’s a really lively spot filled with people of all ages and types but everyone has at least one thing in common and that they are all eating some really delicious seafood. It’s right on the water attached to the Redondo Pier so it has great scenery and is a nice escape destination to have a meal. It was quite crowded when we arrived but the line moves pretty quickly and I only had to wait a few minutes for all of our food to be ready. It’s the sort of place where you order at the counter and they give it to you immediately or in a few minutes depending on what you order. You can also choose what fish you want and they will grill that for you, but there is a separate line for that. Then there is another line for any sort of drinks but that moves very quickly as well. They have tons of parking attached, but the easiest spot would be to park in the underground parking for the Redondo Pier and just walk down the steps, and it’s right there. Pricing is fair and they have a ton of great options on the menu, both grilled and fried and all sorts of other things. It was hard to choose what I wanted to eat. I was at first going to do a lobster bisque bread bowl, but I decided on trying a few of their items based on a few other people who had ordered in front of me. We ordered the fish and chips, the shrimp and chips, and the boardwalk lobster roll. The fish and chips was absolutely fantastic. It’s some very large pieces of fish that are breaded and fried perfectly. Definitely some of the best fried fish I’ve had in a long time. The shrimp was also really good and were some actually very large pieces of shrimp. The lobster roll was a bit smaller than I would hoped for $22, and I wish it had larger lump meat pieces like they do at Broad Street, but it still had some great flavors. Overall a really solid and casual seafood location. It is especially great for lunch or dinner. It’s easy to dine alone or in a very large group so it’s a great option on a lot of different occasions. I would recommend and I will try again next time I am in the area. Fresh fresh and fresh. A seafood shop and restaurant. Full stars speak for it self. We had lobster bisque and chowder in bread bowl, shrimp and chip, fried Calamari and shrimp ceviche. All great. Portions appropriate for the price. Menu items were quick turnaround with only few minutes wait time. Go there! Do not stop. Do go. Well, the guy in oyster bar is not friendly at all. This was the First time here and I asked him if he got any suggestions or recommendations. He just sighed and walked away. We ordered an alive sea urchin. It comes with a considerable big size and costs $25. Other than that, the paella is quite good and I enjoyed the fried calamari a lot which is crispy and juicy. Siete mares looks different than the menu picture. A little bit spicy and you can’t taste the original flavors of seafood. The seagulls are all around. This place is absolutely amazing! We ordered 2 spiny lobsters, a crab, and half dozen oysters. It took about 25 minutes for the lobsters and crab to cook and the oysters were so fresh and delicious! This has ruined all other seafood for me since it was so fresh and juicy. This was the biggest lobster I've ever had and was perfect with a little lemon and garlic butter. The oysters were so good! This place is pretty cool. Came down here on a Wednesday evening. It was pretty chill. Bet this place is hopping on the weekends. I got a grilled ono taco and a fried fish taco. Both were really good. Some diablo sauce...not as hot as they make it out to be....but it's got a little kick and it's tasty. This place is fun. If you want to just hang out and walk around, you could burn a couple of hours here. Lots of variety. A TON of fresh fish options. You should check it out if you have time. Located right on the boardwalk of Redondo Beach, this place is a must visit if you are looking for fresh seafood. I ordered the raw oysters and they were as flavorful and meaty as could be. There are a few varieties to choose from. I ordered two of the $3 oysters and one of the $5 ones. They were served with Tapatio sauce and horseradish, making for a terrific blend of flavor. There is also beer served here, which was very inexpensive. That'd definitely be something to highlight about this place. Overall, this place has fresh seafood and cheap beer. My kind of place! Always the best seafood, come here all the time to eat seafood. Love their spider crab and their seafood paella rice. Always fresh food and never disappoints. I highly recommend coming here to eat seafood and definitely will be coming back everytime I am in town. Disclaimer I am not a huge seafood fan, came here because my wife loves seafood. We stopped in for a quick bite and a beer. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. I had the fish tacos which I thought were just okay (see disclaimer) but I can tell you the entire dish lacked seasoning and flavor which would bring the dish up… it was just okay. My wife had the fried oysters and said they were good, and tasted fresh, other than that unremarkable. She wants to go back and try the fresh oysters so I’ll update the review after that. When she does I think I’ll just have a beer Update after the fresh oysters and sea urchin. Bumped to 4 stars the fresh oysters and fresh sea urchin on the shell was really great.
