So this restaurant was very good. The food tasted fresh, was served hot, and the portions were generous. The guacamole was by far the best I've had around in a long while, and the salsa hit the spot. Chips, salsa, water, meal, and a guac appetizer before tip was $12 and change. Can beat a good hot meal for that price. This was some of the best food I have had IN AWHILE!! Period! The first time we came; I got the chicken skillet (no mushroom) & my husband got the beef skillet. Wow! Everything about this was perfect & so satisfying. First of all the rice had such good flavor on its own. The meat was fresh & tasted really good, had good seasoning. The queso was perfect and the jalapeños were a good addition!! We came back a few day later. This time on a Sunday & the place was packed! Parking was a little crazy! So you know you came where the food is good! We got our food to go, both time, so we did not have to wait. The second time, I got a chicken chimichanga, no beans, extra rice! This was my first chimichanga and it was perfect! My husband got the beef and was happy with his too. We love this place! It’s our new “go-to” Mexican place in the Drumright / Cushing area! I just moved to town and discovered this little downtown gem on a google search last night. I really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. I've eaten here three times the first time was the 2nd date with my now husband, and we brought the kids with us, I got the combo Fajitas and the last time My husband and I split a fajita trio! Called multiple times. No answer. Drive over to the restaurant to place a small order to go for my wife. One person greets me and says be right with you. 5 minutes later, in a restaurant that is far from full of people, I wave down a man that works there. He asks how many and I say I want a to go order and he says “very busy” and walks off. I eventually got my order taken by the original lady. The spinach Quesadilla was nasty, and when I got home I found they shorted me a taco. ⭐️⭐️ because the tacos were pretty good, can’t lie. Was in Cushing for some sky diving and we built up our appetites. Pueblo Viejo is not lying when they say Authentic in their name. They provide so many great options especially on their Autentica menu. I love enchiladas so I had to try it three ways. All the food, including the white cheese queso, was so good. Great dinner! Can't believe we haven't found this place sooner! (its our 4th year here) Fantastic fast service. Really good authentic food. Salsa they serve is bland but you just need to ask for the spicy stuff. I had a mole dish, my g daughter had lengua tacos and my husband had a chicken chorizo rice dish. All incredibly good.
