I would leave 0 stars if possible. This is the most incompetent bakery I've ever dealt with. Maddie couldn't answer a single question that we asked her the first time we went to place our order, so we came back Wed with a printed picture and asked for it to be replicated. Nope looks terrible and is nothing like the picture. Again talked with Maddie and couldn't answer any of the questions I had about a second cake we were going to order and was told to just call the next afternoon. I called in on Thursday and spoke with a guy and ordered the cake and asked if it could be done by 1 on Friday since I had another pickup at that time and was told yes. Go on Friday at 1 and nope did not place my order for Friday he wrote it for Saturday and they couldn't do it Friday. So now I have 0 birthday cakes for a birthday party tomorrow.
Great shopping experience at this location. From hot ready-to-eat food to the salad bar, so many great choices for when you don't feel like cooking after running errands all day. The store was clean and well-stocked. Employees were very friendly and helpful.
I don't shop my favorite store now because they won't take American currency at the self check out. I live alone buying only a few items at a time every single day. I'm disabled and don't like having to stand in line. I have financial responsibilities. I'm not a teenager swiping mommies card everywhere I go. I also feel this is an attack on our monetary freedoms

I'd rate it 5 stars, but I drove over half an hr to the location in Cookeville,TN to get their VERY GOOD wild mushroom bisque (only available on Monday as posted ) on 11/20. Not on the menu that day. To their credit, the young man I asked checked in the back and said they could have some ready in about 20-25 min. I will just call ahead next time. Otherwise, great selection of good meats, produce and grocery. I will be back

Well I love to go there and make my own salad from their bar. However, on this day, they wouldn't open it just a little early for me. All of the veggies were out and placed properly. They just needed the necessary utensils placed accordingly. They refused to do so. So yeah, I was thoroughly disappointed. After all, I made a special trip to go to Publix for the salad bar! Really?

Very clean, it has this special publix clean smell throughout the store . Very friendly staff, who have smiling faces, eager to help you find what you need. Delicious subs, the best hand breaded fried chicken! And you can't go wrong with anything from their bakery! It just feels like home when I get to visit . I just wish Crossville, TN could have one.

I love this store because they have fountain drinks. I take my mother to Publix so we are in there awhile. We always stop and get us a drink, then go to deli to argue over what cheese to get and how thick to have it sliced. Ahh the memories we have at Publix. Thanks Publix for bringing us closer. By the way I never win!!!
I had to delete my 5 star review, and make a new one after my last experience. I have been a loyal Publix shopper for years. The quality of the produce was always top notch. This last time I went will be my last time. I took a friend from out of town to come here to buy groceries while he visited. He bought a Steak. When we got home, the steak smelled rancid. Like spoiled milk. It was also a weird brownish color only an hour after we left the store. He didn’t even pick a steak from the cooler, he asked the butcher for a certain cut, and the butcher game him a rotten fillet costing nearly $17. Before we opened the steak we already threw a stick of butter, and a stalk of rosemary in the pan. So this was a waste of about $20 right there. We have zero other meat in the house for my guest to eat because we are a vegetarian household. So now I had to take him out to get dinner which was a waste of even more money. If the rotten steak wasn’t enough, I bought a pack of pre peeled garlic ($4.49) that was extremely moldy. Was not past the expiration date, so that means the storage was bad. The celery I bought was also covered in mold. The apples I bought were brown on the inside when I cut them open. Overall, I’m just disgusted with the quality of the food during this last visit. The price is so high at Publix, that I expect nothing but the best. To get all this bad food is incredibly disrespectful. They have lost a loyal customer.
Super friendly employees. For being a chain grocery store the Cookeville location gives off small town vibes. My husband and I are always greeted and recognized by the staff. The staff give exceptional customer service and we have made this our choice grocery store for all of our needs.

The staff is always so helpful and nice. I have never come across bad produce or fresh food there. Their deli sandwich counter is very good. We love to pick up a sub to take on a picnic with the kiddos.
