Firstly the place is drastically mismanaged or understaffed. It seems like everyone is trying to do everything. The barista is making coffee but also serving food. The chef is cooking but also making drinks and serving food and clearing tables as well. The person on the counter is in the kitchen helping to try and push stuff out of the kitchen so there’s no one taking orders. It was 45mins before our order was even taken. We gave up on ordering a decent breakfast and ordered cabinet food instead. It’s disappointing when you come here expecting to have a great full breakfast but end up with a wait that is ridiculous. We saw people in line give up and walk out. Customers walking away is a sign something isn’t working. Hopefully this was just a bad day for them. Highly suggest they get table numbers. The flat white is good, the hot chocolate is okay. Bacon and egg toastie was nice, Chicken wrap was great with a good mix and balance of flavours, the cheese bacon veggie on toast was nice, the Croissant was burnt with thick char underneath. This place must be great during the week, just too disorganised for the high demand of the 10am checkout from people staying the weekend looking for food. It’s a shame because the staff seemed nice. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Gluten-Free Chicken Wrap

Been there few times, special retro ambience is the only point to show someone never been there. Personally won't be back again due to recent 2 visit are least pleasant as the lady in counter (not sure is she the owner) was quite unfriendly and impatient. Cheap tea but expensive food.
Remember your covid pass. Welcoming staff.. Busy little nook.. wide range brrakfast menu. A stack of cards was good for our loud 6 (aged😁) people group. Older boks to look through amd magazines .. thank you to accomodating staff

What a little gem, we’re happy we found this place on a cold spring day. Sipping on some really good coffee next to the fireplace we ended up staying for a good few hours. Great down-to-earth food options and everything we tried was very tasty. Great spot to grab a bite, have a coffee alone or with friends or just to hang out for a few hours doing some screen work. Nostalgic atmosphere and lovely staff.

Was served mouldy bread as part of a BLT, when I told the waitress/cafe owner she said 'oh it must be a herb' and didn't offer to exchange it or amend order. Probably better to just own up to it and apologize! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Poor service lady serving didn’t have the time or day to take our orders was very rude, we ordered sausage rolls and a muffin they were good but waiting over half hour for it got a bit extreme Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
This potentially a lovely quaint place for an interesting brunch. Counter staff were lovely and good menu options. Coffee was good! Unfortunately, the scrambled eggs I had were weird tasting 😕 when I asked if they were powdered, the cooks response was really defensive. A fellow diner had a boiled egg that was totally green inside and she defensively justified that as well. REALLY wanted to like this place, but sorry won't be back. Needs a good clean and I was overcharged. Price per person $20–30 Atmosphere: 1
