Only popped in for a delicious pizza as we were in our campervan parked opposite. The pizza was fully loaded with a wonderfully soft crush and piping hot. Highly recommend!
During my tour of Brežice, I had the pleasure of visiting the Pr' Šefu restaurant, and I must say I am incredibly happy with my decision to dine there. This is one of those places that instantly captivates you with its charm, both inside and out. The interior design was tasteful and warm, while the outdoor ambiance was perfect for enjoying the food in a calm and serene atmosphere. I ordered the ribs with fries, which were both huge and incredibly tasty. My companion opted for the chicken salad, and she was so delighted that she overate to the point of having a stomach ache.
A particular highlight was the humorous touch with the restroom signs reading "at the chef's" and "at the chef's wife" - or however it was precisely written. Such details genuinely add a unique charm to the place. The waitresses were exceptionally friendly, and we felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in.
In any case, my experience at Pr' Šefu was overwhelmingly positive, and I will definitely return when I'm back in Brežice. If you're looking for a quaint and delicious dining spot, I highly recommend this restaurant!
The food was really good. I had the salad plate and my friend had fish and buckweed with mushrooms. It was really tasty although it seemed we waited a bit too long. But the place itself is clean with no smells from the kitxhen although we sat opposite the kitchen door. And the toilet was clean, warm with additional ladies items available in a nice busket
We arrived for dinner, at first glance the place looks nice and cozy.
We sat down inside, the menu looked rich and good. The dishes were served beautifully, and that's it. The food was really bad! Hamburger is dry and not tasty, it is not clear what kind of meat and swrvwd with a lot of mayonnaise. Noodles with chicken was also unsuccessful. And there were many flies inside the restaurant, this does .not indicate the level of hygiene

The ćevapi were awesome and pljeskavica filled with cheese was realy good, and they do have Jelen beer, Laško beer is also good and should definitevly be tried.
Really great resto and very popular, we were warned that waiting time is 1h and indeed it was the case, that is the big problem here. Otherwise good Location next to river Sava and not far from Grad. Lovely deco and fantastic atmosphere. The noodles wok was very tasty, large portions. Kids loved the chicken nuggets (fingers). Best price quality in the area, paid €11 average per person with 1 dish 1 drink.
We had a very good experience staying there one night. The apartment is very beautiful and clean. It has everything you need, air con.., tv, hairdryer, dishwasher etc. The location is great, only 5 minutes away from Spa Paradiso. The hosts were very kind, nice and warm. The rooms and the restaurant have nice, warm vibe. The food looked delicious. We would definitely recommend it!
A wonderful welcome even though I arrived late from Ljubljana. Spacious, modern apartment style room. New, clean and comfortable. Lounge stayed open for me to have refreshment. My British English was understood.
