Lovely little place in arrowtown. Staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly. Absolute excellence in service. We ordered a couple of entrees and two mains. All served within 15 minutes. One thing to note was the Vietnamese chicken salad. It has a refreshing fusion twist, and we totally loved it. Highly recommended to visit this place. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice restaurant with a friendly staff. Good meals, their salads are tasty and nicely presented. However we ordered their slow cooked lamb which was the most expensive item on the menu. It was rather small and dry so not very fresh. Their flat white coffee is just a large cup of milk with very little taste of coffee. The card machine asks for a tip - which is not very kiwi especially when you have to order at the counter and come back to pay. Price per person $50–60 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Was here first time in 2003, then 2nd time in 2017, and today 3rd time in 2023; NEVER dissapointed! Fabulous food and services, especially today with the best sunny & brezzy weather. Nothing to ask more, we were just right at the best table outside enjoying ourselves with food and atmoshere around. We had 1 share starter, 2 main dishes, and 1 share dessert. Total damage was NZD $100, which roughly is about USD $80 for two persons. Reasonable when compares to everything here. Highly recommended. Price per person $80–90 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice restaurant with great food and very friendly service. The BBQ Beef Brisket with Turkish bread was delicious, flavourful meat BBQ sauce n gherkins combined very well with the crispy bread. The Pan Fried Gnocchi was out of this world, very flavourful on its own and the napoli/pesto sauce and black olive brought it up another level.
Food was very tasty, front verandah was pretty and nice for a November evening feed in the sunlight. Service was faultless. Though, my hunger was not sated with the small serving of lamb received (2 small discs pictured). For the price of $45nzd, I could have bought and slow cooked a whole lamb shoulder to feed 20 people for the same size and price. Kumara was nice but also small serving. Partner's gnocci was delicious and decent serving size. If portion size of lamb dish was double I'd have given it a 5/5. Cheese puffs were tasty too. The chilli jam was perfectly spiced. Price per person $60–70 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish and Chips
⚠️ You can’t leave Arrowtown without visiting the Postmaster restaurant. I celebrated my birthday here and I had delicious 😋 cheese puffs, mouth melting lamb 🐑, refreshing cocktails 🍹around a beautiful garden and friendly staff😁. Highly recommend! Price per person $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Our second time coming here and quickly remembered why we haven't been here regularly. I had the beef brisket which turned out to be a $32 sandwich with no sides. The Mrs had the mussels which were small and low in quantity so not worth $32 either. There's no table service and we had to order at the bar, and get our own water and cutlery. Then when we paid they asked for a tip.... 🤔 Price per person $40–50 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
“The best fish and chips I’ve ever had” We visited this restaurant on New Year’s Eve day. We loved that the menu was very inclusive for gluten free people! The staff were super lovely and prompt. The food came out quite quickly. It’s a lovely location to sit and take in the world around us. The menu is quite affordable and delicious.
The food was incredible!! Great service and a wide variety of choices to choose from. They didn’t bring the starters out before our mains, but the food was so good we didn’t care 🤣 We had the mussels, lamb, brisket and gnocchi as our mains and the cheese puffs, dumplings and squid were our entrees. So delicious 🤤 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We came for lunch and sat for 30 minutes with no food after ordering. I dont know how the chirozo cost $28 for 1 chopped up and put in the tiniest bowl and crusty bread with no butter. The other dishes came out cold as well. Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
