No stars for service. Ask for the bill and asked again 15 mins later had to follow him to ask again. Finally let us leave 40 mins later. I thought I’d give him another chance two days later. This time ordered a burger and waited 45 mins asked him where it was. 15 mins later he came back and said it would be another 20 mins. No apology. Rude Idiot. Lovely spot as well. Avoid. Fabulous location. Kids can play in sea and adults can enjoy good food reasonably priced. Understaffed so slow service if busy but great atmosphere. Cant think of a better place to while away a sunny few hours. Have spent many mornings and afternoons here from Oct - mid Nov. Price per person €10–15 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

I don't make a habit of posting about bad experiences, but we were really disappointed with this establishment. We turned up on a Saturday, mid-afternoon looking for a snack and drinks. The place was seemingly not too busy, and there were 2 or 3 staff waiting on tables. We selected a table and asked a passing member of staff if we could please have some menus. He barely acknowledged us giving us just a nod. We waited 10-15 minutes without any sign of menus. Eventually my son spotted one on a nearby table and he grabbed that. We waited another 5 minutes, trying to get the attention of staff as they passed nearby, but then we gave up and left as no-one seemed interested in us We eventually found the nearby Ponte Veranda, where our experience was a whole lot better. Maybe this was a one off, but having since read other reviews, it seems unlikely. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
