Woeful experience, the 3 star food was let down by the 0 star service... the most inattentive, poorly trained service staff imaginable. Bring your Google translate, write down your own order, take the separate tickets to the bar and kitchen, then you might actually get a taste of this restaurant's potential. Desperately needs a farang manager on site and in the meantime it's very cheeky prices to charge for such abysmal service. One of the best at Samui We’ve been going out of this hotel every everting in search of fine dining, went to Cliff, to Four Seasons, but at very last evening we stayed at our hotel to eat at Fish Tales and found it much over our expectation, and quite the best of all Thai and sea food places we’ve visited before! Moreover, menu of Evol restaurant which where kindly brought to me at my vegetarian inquire were awesome! Those kinoa sushi without fish was fantastic! As long as seafood dishes of my friends! This beachfront restaurant has been reopened as Fish Tales after Garrya (run by Banyan Tree) took over management. It is our favorite setting on Samui. It sits on a private, secluded beach with great vistas. The dining options are western and Thai, and the salads are especially outstanding. Special requests are easily accommodated. We like the mixed seafood curry, but we change it to prawn curry. We like the mango crepes but we change them to banana crepes...all executed with a smile. Lovely dinner as guests of the hotel... The staff is just adorable and so thoughtful 👌 The food is indeed pretty good and the setting is very intimate and charming. Nice casual beachfront restaurant with super friendly staffs and choices of Thai and International dishes. Chef is awesomely accommodating if you’d like something a little off the menu or some tweaks. You can go hang on the beach & enjoy your little cocktail too! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
