I've been to some pretty cheek places in my life. And I would never have thought that I would have found something so cheeky and cool. And just awesome it has such a great vibe there is this Such a great place has such a great ambience. And the music's amazing as well, and the staff is super super. Good, but don't let me forget the food. Oh my God, the food from an avocado cream, your tuna. They have pizzas and the beef. Tenderloin was absolutely ridiculous. I can't say how much you should come to this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Incredible find in Cancun; from the moment you enter you are treated to fantastic service from the door to the table and throughout the meal. The interior is beautiful with a gentle pool in the middle and tasteful lighting throughout for evening meals. Then the food is outstanding. The bread comes with a delicious pesto butter accompaniment, and I cannot recommend the lime flank steak enough. What’s most surprising is that the portion sizes are actually quite large which is rarely the case in high-end restaurants. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a wonderful night at Platss celebrating a birthday. The service was excellent (thank you Adrian), and the owner of the restaurant was there to give us a little history as well. Cute ambiance and a very intimate setting with indoor fountain. The food was all excellent! Please pay them a visit - you won’t regret it. Out of the 7 days my sisters and I were in Cancun, we spent 3 of those nights enjoying the amazing cuisine and service at Platss. Customer service is very important and they went above and beyond. Not only were they polite and professional, but they were also personable! Every staff member and the owners gave us a reason to come back. This was a birthday trip for me and both my sisters. Without asking, staff brought us complimentary desserts. On the last night, they gave us a complimentary bottle of champagne! They conversed with us and gave us a little history on the making of this exquisite establishment! The food was GREAT. It was delicious and presented very well. We wanted to try as many restaurants as we could while visiting. One night, a restaurant we arrived to closed the kitchen right before we got there. My first thought was to call Platss to see if they could service us, because they too were closing soon. I called nervously, asking if they would service us if we rushed there, and that it was my little sister’s actual birthday dinner that night. The woman on the phone replied, “we will wait for you guys to celebrate you sister’s birthday. We look forward to celebrating with you!” We got to the restaurant as fast as we could. When we arrived, the two lovely owners(i feel horrible not remembering their names) were waiting outside for us and greeted us with open arms and a warm welcome. They even mentioned my little sister by name saying they were ready to celebrate! This is a phenomenal restaurant. The aesthetics are to die for! It’s such a beautiful venue. Not too big, not too small. You will love it here! My sisters and I most definitely did and cannot wait to return when we visit again.

A disappointing night out at Platts. While the ambience is great the service and overall experience was lacklustre. After being seated and ordering drinks we tried to order our main courses - however we were informed that there were no pizzas available and that the in house special, avocado cream, was also not available. Upon receiving our main courses, no vegetables were provided on the plate - just the main protein, which was strange as the menu descriptions included vegetables. Additionally, one of our main courses never showed up - the server and/or kitchen seemed to forget this entree and did not check in. Overall, the food we received was good but the service quality and overall dining experience was lacklustre. Wow what a dinner! Firstly, the waiter who served us was immaculate. He was very polite, professional and knowledgeable! We had the appetiser and a main each and the portion sizes were huge! The meals were so tasty. We had the chicken pasta and the 4 cheese pizza which is highly recommended! If you’re after a great evening meal then definitely stop by here! Upscale dining in downtown Cancún, away from the touristy hotel zone. Huge portions, reasonable prices, friendly service. Great mellow vibe, unpretentious. A little salty for my taste at times, but it's easy to ask for less. A great place for special occasions! Buen provecho. I took my girlfriend to this place for her birthday and it did not disappoint! Amazing atmosphere and ambiance!!! We walked into the restaurant and were greeted immediately and taken straight to our table. Our server Adrian was super attentive and very helpful with recommendations on the menu. We both got a tamarindo margarita and it was very good! I had the creamy shrimp pasta and my girlfriend had the chicken pasta and it was amazing! It is a super wonderful dinner even though we have only 1hour and half, the main waiter was superb. He did a great job to make us feel fulfilled which is very rare in these days. And the food was delicious. Shrimp carpaccio was great for initiating a meal, white wine was a great pair with the food. The pizza was thin and hot, excellent for my hunger!
