We ate there yesterday during our short trip to Strasbourg. Found it via the recommendations article online but booked a time at the last minutes (15 min before entering). Hopefully, we got a table as after one hour the restaurant was full and people were waiting in the queue. The service was great, the waitresses were friendly, spoke English (was important to us). We ordered the steak with bearnaise and the truffled mashed potatoes, it was good, purée was unexpected but the taste with meat was just to the point. The foie gras as a started was also delicious. We also have tried two Chocolate Fondants, they were as great as they should be, the sorbet they were served with was also good (my friend who normally doesn’t eat any kinds of Sorbets, finished his one). Do recommend, especially if you are in the city for a couple of days when all other places are fully booked.

It is a cozy restaurant with a staff that cares about people and food. The menu is well-balanced. We had a delicious plate of truffle pasta and a particular steak cut with the vegetables of the moment. As for closing this good meal, we had an excellent dessert: a tiramisu and profiterole.

With a very warm and hospitable welcome, you'll enjoy delicious meals. It's such a cheerful place, treating customers so well that you might momentarily forget you're in France. While the restaurant have a lot of local customers inside, I'm very happy to have dined in an establishment that treats tourists so kindly, conversing with them in English without any doubt. I highly recommend the seafood salad; the portions are quite generous.

The staff and food are amazing!
Especially grilled meat options are so good. We also tried 64degree egg first time and really liked it.
We were 5people and picked the sharing option because we would like to the different dishes.
Appetizers and mains are so good almost all but for the pasta options and dessert are average.

Amazing food, best octopus I’ve ever tried. We asked to remove a few options from the dish and the waiter has lowered the dish price!! Also she gave a huge box with toys to our 1-year old son. Very cozy and family atmosphere. Glad we found this place among many touristic taverns.

We didn’t have a reservation and we just walked in not realizing that this was an extremely popular place. Things worked out that they were able to seat us but I would make a reservation because I don’t think that’s usually the case. This fish dish with a puree next to it was so good, even though the picture might not seem that way

The price was absolutely reasonable for such quality food. They served everything warm. The soup (poivron and avocado) was consistent and delicious. It was served with warm bread.
The main course was served beautifully. It was fish with brown rice and lentils, along with zucchini. Yummy!!
The servers were friendly, efficient, and kind. I definitely recommend this place.

We had a phenomenal evening here for dinner. The staff and service were fantastic. The food was incredible! The Risotto was cooked perfectly and the scallops melted in your mouth. My husband said his steak was one of the best he has ever had. The Chocolate Fondant was a Perfect mix of warm gooey cake and cold raspberry ice cream. The flavors were so well balanced! Both desserts were so delicious and the perfect end to a wonderful evening!
