Got the baby club plate and everything was good except the hair on my box... had it got in my food I'd have been very disappointed.. but luckily it was on the box. Aside from that the baby club was good and the hush puppies were cooked perfectly

French Fries Chicken Fingers
This place looked so gross from the outside we dared eachother to eat there. Petees Good Food is an oxymoron. One of us said "sometimes these greasy spoon places are awesome." This place delivered! It was actually WORSE than we thought. One of us got the Jumbo burger: Paper thin with a ton of mayonnaise. Fries? Tasted like they were sitting in a room five years with mold. Chili hotdog...!!! Looked like dog food. Place was so disgusting we talked about the comical value of how bad it was for the next three hours. How in the hell is this place still operating? It looks abandoned, and I'm a hundred percent sure any positive reviews are fake. Hilarious this place, how bad it is.

The food took forever even at the drive thru…then:
Onion rings SMELLED delicious, had absolutely NO FLAVOR
Fries unsalted and tasteless
And the chili cheeseburger as pictured as NOT chili!! It was bland mush slathered on top of a super thin patty. Thing about chili is that there is normally a chili flavor…this was more along the lines of Alpo dog food in sight, smell, and I am assuming taste!! I just can’t go there again…it’s just nasty…zero stars, DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I wish you could rate places twice because the people in there seemed really sweet. All employees, no owner. Folks in there said Pete passed about 4 years ago and I don't know if it was ever a good place, but currently, it is obviously being neglected by whoever took over ownership.
It's clean enough on the outside with the old faded sign, obviously designed with great care by someone who had a dream of opening their own place, I'm guessing in the 1970s.
But the menu, the décor, the equipment don't seem to have been updated since. The inside wasn't filthy but it would be hard to call it clean. It just had the look and feel of one of those old restaurants that have gone through the same cleaning routine for decades without any updating or major sanatizong to speak of. Same can be said for the menu. The food was old school basic. Food & food prep have come a long way in the last 20 years, but not here.
I'm not saying they should add avocado toast and smoked brisket on toasted cibatta with arugula and aioli with an esspresso bar, not everyone's a pampered hipster. But even the basics have been improved upon over the years and the uninspired preparation of the food at this joint is stuck in time.
All the employees seem to muster enough energy to stay positive enough to do their job, but like the place does in general, they give the vibe of being trapped in a mundane lost cause. Whoever owns this place has some work to do.... for sure.

Food kinda bland. Salad was watery and dressing was too thin as well. If you like cheese you’ll like it. Didn’t get our extra dressing either. Chili wasn’t that great on the hot dogs and the bread was slightly hard.

Been going there for years and everything is delicious and you get your money worth. When some places have cut the portions and raised the price. You are consistent with the portions and plenty to eat.

Deluxe Hamburger Steak Plate
My friend and I stopped in here, and we both had cheeseburgers. We split the half and half from 1 plate. I ordered 1 plate and an extra cheeseburger. The food was ok. It was fresh and hot. What got me with this restaurant was the floor being so sticky that my flip-flops didn't want to come back up off the floor. The entire floor was like this. Then, as we were eating, we noticed just how dilapidated this building was. It needs a major remodel.

This place would get a 5 star review from me, but the chili here is awful. With that said, everything else is great and the prices are wonderful by today’s standards. People are friendly, but the drive-thru can be a bit slow. Please work on the chili! I need a reasonably priced chili cheeseburger.
