I hadn’t been to a Pei Wei in several years. I’ve been missing out - the food is so good! The lettuce wraps are so good. You have to try them with that sauce they come with. And add a little pepper sauce, too. Amazing. The Thai coconut curry chicken was so good. The service was great at this location. The facility itself is definitely dated, but seems well taken care of. Would be happy to go back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

We had a Pei Wei in Beaumont before the covid shut downs. Not sure if thats what closed them down but never the less, This place never lets me down. If i drive to Houston you better bet im stopping in at Pei Wei Asian Kitchen. You walk in , you make your order, and sit for a few short minutes and BAM!!! Your taste buds are happy. Lettuce wraps is on point. General Tso's chicken is absolutely tasty! Everything else is just as good. I LOVE eating at Pei Wei. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered to go. Worst wonton soup EVER. Looked like mop water and tasted like nothing but salt. I ordered large and had a couple of sad wontons and some green onion floating in it. At least the onions were fresh. Also got fried rice and broccoli chicken. Everything tasted the same. Like they rinsed the sweet and sour off some pork and mixed it in the slop. I still cant get the taste out of my mouth. Truly nasty and i fully understand why i was the only customer. Just lock the door and give up. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

First time here and last the lady at the front counter seemed annoyed, The food in general is not good at all like other locations, the orange chicken did not have a good flavor panda express is way better than here the noodles don't have any taste and so dry it look like they were just microwave. Also, if u decide, u don't want white rice that's comes with it. Instead, you want noodles that's an extra $2.19 for the noodles, whaaaat a scam on top of everything. We had a short wait at first, due to no one being at counter to take order for a few minutes...but when someone came, was nice and helpful. This diner offers take-out food, along with dine-in. Our food was fresh, hot, well-prepared, of generous sized proportions, and reasonably priced. We had orange chicken and sweet-and-sour chicken....very good. Of course, the little ones always enjoy trying to practice using chopsticks!

We walked in and looked at the menu. Gentlemen was kind enough to walk us thru the menu since it was our 1st time there. Menu has gluten free, vegetarian, and spice indicators next to the food items to determine what you would like to eat. To change things on your main dish requires a upcharge. Your payment gets taken by the cashier and you choose where it is you want to sit. Once the food is done. The worker(s) take your food to where you're sitting. They bring napkins, forks, spoons, and knife. The worker(s) check up on you from time to time to see If everything is okay. Food was good. One minor problem I had was my noodles. Some of them were clumped up and stuck together. Some areas of the noodles weren't cooked thoroughly due to them being stuck. Crab Wontons were crispy, Wonton soup was delicious, and my drunken noodles were good. Spice really sneaks up on you. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $1–10

tl;dr= chicken was easily accessible to customers. you probably shouldn't eat here. usually this peiwei is pretty decent but the last time I went they had their chicken out on some counters. Which normally is fine and whatever but these counters were accessible to the public. Like I walked past the cash register and could wiggle my arm and literally touch the chicken. I'm not being dramatic when I say there was nothing dividing customers from probably all of the chicken in the restaurant. I wish I could've gotten a picture cause this was wild. I probably wouldn't care as much if almost half of the menu wasn't made of... guess what??? THE (probably contaminated) CHICKEN. Idk man. I ate my food because the person I came with and I already paid for it, so if I end up with food poisoning that's partially my fault, but still. I would probably say don't eat at this specific pei wei because I've never been to any other peiwei that has done this. Good luck to whoever has to eat any of this chicken 🧍
