I've eaten here for the second time, and the taste of the food is still excellent, just like before. The price is still reasonable. The crab curry is very delicious, I really like it. Authentic Thai restaurant that you should come and try. All of the food are well cooked with fresh ingredients. English menu are available with photo you can search. Staffs can communicate English well. Credit card and Cash are accepted. Location may not be easy to come but it's worth. Come and try original Thai food. Seems to be a classy restaurant which serves authentic Thai food, should be quite popular in this area. The environment is beautiful and comfortable. Apparently a must-visit recommended by locals an well-visited as a pit-stop of many Bangkokians. If offers many Thai and southern dishes though some dishes (panang curry) tend to be on the sweet side or super spicy (if you can't handle the heat, make sure to note to them). Dishes were hit or miss (perhaps we went with a really high expectation from all the rave) but those which we liked were done really well. Highlights were the thick and juicy Thai fish cakes, garlic fried squid, steamed coconut fish cakes in clay mini clay tins, and somehow, the stir-fry mixed veg was a 'wow' and done well so be sure to get your veg fix with that. Abit of a distance from the main road where Google may take you down weird narrow paths. Staff service was polite but impersonal as is the case with a bigger and busy restaurants. The restaurant is vibrant, nicely decorated and comfortable with clean and big washrooms. Recommend to call ahead and book. Finding a Thai restaurant that excels in cuisine, ambiance and value is not easy. Payunh elevates a meal into something very special. The space is spotlessly clean and the service is attentive yet far from overbearing. If you are heading to Hua Hin from Bangkok, you most definitely should stop here for lunch.
