Good spot to try some local food in Saint-Louis. The service was good and the place fairly and prices very affordable. We had a thieboudienne and a fish yassa, all were nice meals. Toilettes were ok. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3
We’ve eaten here 2-3 times now. The yassa poulet is good (not the best in town). Sandwiches are good. Their pizzas are a good size for one person — the crust is slightly thicker than at other pizza places in Saint-Louis. Service is sometimes very nice and sometimes not welcoming, but the restaurant is clean and comfortable and located right in the middle of downtown. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
One of the best in town. Must try! The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing recommendation for English speaking tourists. We had amazing food and drinks.
For your information, Darou Salam is both a pastry and a Restaurant. I give 5 stars for the restaurant without hesitation. If you want to taste the best of Senegalese dishes, especially the ceebu jen (rice and fish) then don’t look nowhere but Darou Saloum. 3 things that I like in the restaurant. 1-you eat good -2 they will give you more food if you finish your dish -3 they offer you desert and tea. Without to mention the warm welcoming of the waitress. I highly recommend this Restaurant

We came to this place two times, and both time were terrible. They took one hour to make one simple hamburger. Both times they made us pay a higher price than what was on the menu. We ordered a fish soup and it didn’t come out for an hour. We couldn’t stay as we had another appointment and so we told them we are going. The bald worker with glasses said we still have to pay as he was preparing it. He made us pay and then we waited another 10 mins for it to come out. He put it in a box in a bag that leaked everywhere. When we opened the bag later the soup was just fish bones and water. How could this take one hour!? They are scammer. They are the most amateur restaurant in St Louis.

Got me some Beef Curry. God. Beef was tender, juicy, and tasty. Definitely going here again when I'm in town.
They started to argument about a water bottle bought outside that we wanted to drink under a heat of 40°C while they took a long time to serve us. If I could put no stars as a review I would've. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Oh my if you get the opportunity in St Louis Senegal check out this restaurant. It was constantly busy but you were not ignored. The FOOD..... if I could take the chef home I would. Some in our group only ordered soup and they raved about that. I had curried lamb and it had the most exotic flavors in it. I went back the second night and had the fish. It did not disappoint. Cooked perfectly and enough for 2.
Not too cosy tight place a d i think they really need to improve on that. Dishes are delicious and the wainting time is not too long. For someone looking for calm it is not the place to be but looking for good food, it is worth visiting
Waiting time too long. Service not helpful at all They really need to improve the welcoming
