Scheduling your trip, pay attention to St. George's Bay and remember to choose where to eat: this bar is right aside the mentioned attraction. If you prefer Mediterranean cuisine, then Paranga is worth visiting. Here clients can delve deep into delicious meals, and degust nicely cooked grilled octopus, sea bass and mussels. This place offers you to try good crème brûlée, chocolate soufflés and che. Try the delicious prosecco, cordial or beer offered here. Great espresso or good juice are waiting for you at this spot. This bar is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. From the guests' point of view, prices are fair. You will definitely appreciate the exotic atmosphere and modern decor. Google users are quite generous with Paranga: it was rated 4.4 stars.

For me, this was a fantastic dining experience from start to finish. I love my sea food and the dishes I had were perfectly cooked. It is very easy to overcook Octopus, but mine was tender and full of flavour. The staff were extremely friendly and very attentive, I would definitely recommend. Christmas 🎄day l🎅🤶 late lunch. Treated like royalty ✨️ 💓 fantastic staff. 🤩. Fantastic food. Chef 👨‍🍳 popped out, felt honoured 🤗. What a fantastic place. We both had the fillet steak, which was superb and plentiful. Ooo forgot to mention the beetroot carpaccio starter, utterly delicious. All drinks 🍸 super delicious 😋. Just a luxurious experience. Anticipated a great visit to this restaurant but expectations weren’t met. We were sat at our table but it had taken 15 minutes to get our order in - during which time we had seen tables who had arrived after us get served first, and food go to wrong tables only to be taken to the right table after being touched by the first, then returned to the kitchen. When our order was taken we told our waitress that there was a dairy allergy - she seemed very confused by this, offering to bring Gluten Free bread instead of the normal bread… Our starters took 20 minutes to arrive and these were very underwhelming in terms of presentation and taste. Our mains then took another 40 minutes to arrive which again were extremely underwhelming. The fish had no taste, not even any seasoning, the potato sides were undercooked and the grilled veg were soggy. Service was terrible - the manager looked like he had been on a 3 day bender in the same suit he showed up to work in. The team had no direction and it was clear that everyone was working the floor rather than their own sections. Tables were were attempting to get the attention of anyone which didn’t work. Unfortunately I won’t be going back or recommending. Intercontinental should take a closer look at this brand. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Absolutely loved the experience, the location is amazing and eating fish while hearing the sea rumbling below doesn't have price. The food I had was good, the portions were abundant and the quality of fish was great, so that's great. Price was above the average but it is within the experience received. Pushed a bit by the waiter to have starters as well, but at the second "no" he gave up. Great experience. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person €15–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

This restaurant is in a delightful setting despite being so close to the strip. The atmosphere is much better than that of the surrounding area. My wife and I had two starters and two mains and every dish was delicious. Service was good, but not great - it got better as the evening went on and they were less busy. Definitely visit if staying in st Julian’s - book in advance to get a good table. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food, bit overpriced for what you get. Service needs serious work. If we needed something outside of when we were served, we didn't get it. Asked for oil and vinegar for my salad and never got it. Needed to refill my own water and wine. Way too much time between finishing dinner and waiter coming back to follow up for dessert. Market price for tuna seemed highly inflated. Octopus was delicious. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €50+ Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Antipasto Misto Di Mare
Yesterday we went to dinner with my friend to this restaurant. We were waiting to be sited for around 45 min, ok it was our fault that we didn’t book the table in advance. After we were finally offered a table we were waiting for our food another 40 min. I ordered sea food risotto. It was not tasty, plane and reminded me a rice porridge with a bit or tiny prawns inside. I ate Just prawns and sent that rice porridge back to chief. I asked to waitress to inform the chief that it was not tasty. I didn’t get any response from the chief or from the restaurant. Pls don’t order risotto there. And if I would be a restaurant I would offer me something instead or would put that risotto in the bill. Disappointed with the restaurant. Price per person €35–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Paranga is definitely our favourite restaurant in Malta and in fact we took a trip here last week just to be able to dine in the restaurant. This trip we dined with them 3 times, once in the new pizzeria above Paranga. We’ve never been let down by the service but more importantly the food! We strongly recommend the White Chocolate Soufflé, to die for! We know the staff really well now considering the last time we were here was 13 months ago! We are coming back in November from London! Thank you all for your extremely kind hospitality especially Daniele Russo who had arranged our reservation for us. We used to stay in the Intercontinental Malta when we visited but they let us down badly on our last trip so we’ve now opted The Westin so we can still be closed to our favourite restaurant - The Paranga. Until the next time
